"Hardest. Day. Ever. Seriously, if you people knew all the stuff we are planning…you’d, well – hold onto your copy of Mass Effect 3 forever."
So far I haven't seen anything DLC-wise that matches this expectation. If this is a full on expansion...*melts from bliss*

"Tossing in piano and muted strings for this one particular piece. High potential for tears. #ME3DLC"
I can only hope that these will be tears of joy. After going through the ending once more this evening (due to adding Omega to my canon playthrough), I'm not sure how much durability this ol' ticker of mine has left.

It burns! It burns! Ahhhhhhh! *piano music*
Yes, because this game is all about those joyful moments, amirite? ;-)MageTarot wrote...

I'm surprised you went all the way to the ending. Why not just stop somewhere before it all goes downhill? I know the second time I witnessed it, I concluded that it wasn't something that was going to get any better with time, so I've only forced myself to endure it once more (when the extended cut was released).

I wonder if we might see two 10$ DLCs, a part one cliffhanger and then a part two that really finishes off the game with a bang. Would be a way around the Size Limit.

Anyone know why Joker, Liara and Jack were all together on Dec 2nd?
Probably something to do with the VGAs. Or they might have just become friends after ME2 and 3.

If ME3 won GOTY (which it probably won't) they might show a trailer or drop hints for the next DLC. Or they might even start to respect their fans and thank them for voting for the game by making an ending DLC.
I voted for ME3 to win the Spike GOTY because I actually want to see if they make a DLC we want to say thank you.
Why does 'respecting the fans' require an ending DLC? Who says fans even want an ending DLC? All fans? Which fans? Can't respect exist independently of sharing creative control? More importantly, doesn't respect extend both ways? Frankly, I'd find it really hard to respect *anybody* who reacted the way some did to ME3, to the point of abusing developers on Twitter for months.
I mean you'd think ME3 would win Game of the Year awards (as it has started doing) on its own merits, not because of your convoluted rationale of voting for it to send a signal that you want more DLC. The most obvious explanation for the game winning a popular vote is that enough people actually like it enough to consider it the best game of the year.

I wonder if this DLC is what Mike Gamble alluded to WAY back in March. You know, that quote:

Totally agree, I always wondered what he referred to in that quote. Surely it couldn't have been Levi or Omega.

But it's undoubtedly all according to plan by this point, so unless they originally planned for some ending content (which they clearly and repeatedly said was not going to happen), it's just going to be a big story piece about some unresolved issue or bit of lore that has been built up over the years.
It'd be nice to think there could be some further intention to address the issues with the ending, but I'm not sure how anybody could reasonably believe it is something that is ever going to happen at this point.
I think we've learned by now that Mike simply suffers from a faulty hype regulator.Mersey wrote...

There's no master plan. Just a lot of content he believed would be cool and worthy of you not trading in your game the day after you finished it (content including Leviathan, Omega, and the MP expansions, as well as this upcoming "Citadel" DLC).

Well, Mike Gamble works in the marketing, so he wouldn't tell you: "We're going to develop 'standard' quality DLC packs; therefore, feel free to sell your copy of the game to someone else."Sharkey1337 wrote...

Or they are working on the Romance DLC, which would explain the many writers and the need for tearjerking music.
Yeah, but Sascha and Chris usually did action and mystery tunes. So if anything, then this DLC is likely to contain action because of Chris and Sascha and deep emotions because of Sam. So maybe something that includes romance.

the amount of writers, dose not normally mean more content, you can easily make great dlc with just two people, maybe they just need more help with level design or maybe adding some ideas to story.ozthegweat wrote...

I think getting exited so early is not logical, just have to wait and see what happends otherwise we will get more angry people because the dlc is not what they wanted.
