Meh. Never played The Walking Dead. Haven't read the comics or seen the show. Mass Effect will still be my GOTY, with Kingdoms of Amalur taking a very close second.

...And is that not the point?  It only should matter to YOU.

Stop complaining about Claptrap winning or ME3 not winning... all that matters is if you think it DESERVED YOUR LOVE.  Do you really think less of Shepard or FemShep or Mass Effect 3 because they lost in their perspective categories?  If not, then really, who gives a rip. 

I could give a diatribe on why Claptrap won because Best Character is usually limited to a blah blah blah blah blah DOES NOT MATTER!  

40 secs of FemShep & Sheploo comparing sizes of their N7 with Garrus shaking his head was nicely done and in some way reaffirmed, why they were MY characters of the years.

I don't know for you guys but I found this year was really interesting. We had some crazy games coming out of nowhere (The WD, Journey, Fez, Miami Hotline), we had some big blockbusters (Halo 4, ME3). The industry is changing and I thought it was more creative than last year.

In the end ME3 deserved something. I was totally expecting something like GOTY or Best character but like I said, this year was for independent developers ('bout time someone starts to recognize their work).
Hell, we even had a trailer for Metal Gear Solid V and a release date for The Last of Us -Man, I really want to play this game.

If you are asking for the character of the year video it got taken down. you have to go to the livestream and see it. Im currently trying to get one on youtube again on a spare account (just in case they try and give me a copyright infringment.)It may be awhile before it is up have a slow internet today.
