I never expect 0 bugs when I play a game, especially shortly after release. However, I experienced a sum total of 5 bugs that made me have to turn off my Xbox, and that doesn't even include Shepard's face not importing at all/properly the first time I went through ME3. That doesn't include the annoying ones, either...like my Shepard not being able to wear her Kuwashii visor. Of all the times I've played ME1 and ME2 (each game I've played at least 6 times, ME3 I've only played 3 times all the way through), I can count all the bugs I have encountered on one hand. Only two were shut-off-the-Xbox-worthy, and both those were in ME2 and because I did something stupid...like walk into a really dark corner and fall through the map. XD Then there was the month-long timeframe where my ME3 game wouldn't start up at all. That was fun.Fiery Phoenix wrote...
There is literally no such thing as bug-free software. It's always a case of reduction rather than elimination, as the latter is exceedingly more difficult to achieve the larger your system is. With a game as complex as ME3, I think BioWare has, for the most part, done a great job keeping bugs in check.Ghost1017 wrote...
Sooooo many bugs in this game.
I'll also mention that since I got it on release day, I have encountered absolutely 0 bugs in Halo 4. So, the moral of the story is that it's very possible to have significantly less bugs in games that are just as expansive as ME3. It's predecessors, while not bug-free, are SIGNIFICANTLY better in that regard.
I just hope they do better with bug-fixing on this new DLC than they did on Omega.
