Other games can also be immersive.If you like to roleplay a soldierdude that just likes guns and lots of action, there are other RPGs your description fits better. Just sayin lots of RPGs all around. GoW, CoD, .... Doom, Quake.
I haven't played Doom or Quake but GoW isn't an RPG, it's a third person shooter.

Everything in that article is very safe assumptions. Nothing couldn't be something I could come up with just from analyzing everything. 2014-2015 is a pretty safe bet for when the next game comes out, since the games have been at least 2 years apart they JUST started production on it. As for the Wii U report, that was a safe assumption I've been saying for a while, given that they JUST released the first game for PS3.
