I know a lot of you keep mentioning this as the "last DLC" and it very well could be, but I don't think it is. I think it's going to be a big one, no doubt, but Priestly, I believe, was the one that said they have no timetable and no plans on when they are going to end the DLC or how many they are going to make. Was it Priestley who said that the reason why we go alone to retake omega will be "revealed" in the DLC? I thought about a story related twist, where Shepard gets dramaticly parted from the Normandy and hence must defeat Cerb. before he can leave the station and rejoin his crew.

Yep. I also find it interesting that the second tweet says he's 'Back to work on the last ME3 DLC.
I hope he doesn't mean that in a literal sense.

Time will tell, either way, tis inevitable that one day there's going to be a "last DLC",  and being honest it doesn't really matter when that day comes.

Sounds like it's the last one, then.

Hopefully it's a swansong! Omega was rather disappointing, all things considered, and I'd love for the last DLC of Shepard's trilogy to be something really special.

Well, he can be talking about as "latest thing right now" and not as "the last thing we are going to do".
But the truth is, it can be both, we only have up to March (One year of dlc) and that month is pretty close, so it's possible that this is the last dlc.

On the other hand, the new ME game is moving ahead, so we'll have a new objective after the (SP) dlc are over

Xbox 720 and PS4 will release late 2013/spring 2014 at the latest. It's practically granted ME4 is designed for these two (+ high-end PC obviously) in mind. I personally hope for 2015 release date but we'll see

Im genuinly excited to see what advantage the next Mass Effect will take from the change of hardware. The stylish Design really works for me. 

Back to topic.

I wouldn't say high-end PC. Unofficial information about Xbox 720's hardware which is available on the Internet shows that the next generation of consoles is equivalent to today's mid-range PCs in terms of processing power.

Well we didn't do too badly with regards M2 > ME3, we got our final bit of playable ME2 DLC 15 months after the release of ME2, so if they can manage to stick to a similar schedule ( highly doubtful, but you never know ), then that wouldn't be too bad, i could live with waiting till June'ish 2014 for a whole new game set some time in the ME universe.
