Dragon Age: Inquistion just got a lot more interesting with Patrick Weekes' inclusion while Mass Effect 3 a lot less so. ;P

Why do people love patrick weekes so much? Im not being rude I just wanna know - I don't really know the writers on name terms.

:)

DA team would do pretty well already, so another writer won't hurt, but I think DA2 showed very good writing skills, even if the game itself was rushed.

He wrote Mordin and Tali in ME2 and ME3 (who are both popular and well written charatcers), and I beleive (though I may be wrong on this) wrote Garrus during ME2 (but not in ME3)

He also wrote the Rannoch plotline (aka, one of the the two actually awesome parts of ME3), helped with and did a bit of the Genophage plot (mostly due to being Mordin's writer), wrote the Chronos Base mission up the "Shepard, you are in my chair" line (everything after that was Walters), and wrote Lair of the Shadow Broker.

How do you know this? o.O

I would point out that mass effect 1 had autodialouge disguised as a chooseable response, but that would just add fuel to a flamewar I don't want and derail this thread farther.

So, have a tully post.

Awesome pic indeed. Just the thought of having all those characters on the Normandy at the same time is enough to make my head spin. Ohhh, the possibilities!

Love it. Wanna hug Javik's character designer.

Edit: That lineup would be improved by a female Turian, jussaying....

Imagine beating the Reapers, then partying it up with all of them in the mess hall.

I agree that the DA team is far superior to ME team in terms of respecting the lore of their games. DA team shined even despite the 18 months development time for DA.

Ever since Drew K left the ME team, the writing for Mass Effect has been inconsistent with good moments but god-awful direction. Patrick and Dombrow were the two most consistent quality writers on the team.

Jos Hendriks is on an extended holiday & not due back till week after next i believe, & he's been arguabley the most prolific Tweeter, going out of his way to keep us informed, hence the silence.

Not really news, since they've been saying that from the beginning. And even if they did have plans to address it, Merizan would not be the person to give that announcement.

Sounds more like they really needed something to post about on their site.

I have nothing against Jessica Merizan, she is just doing her job and is really easy going to talk to on BSN and seems like a nice enough person.

However, I have absolutely no reason to believe this is true :)

BioWare have not really been consistant in the past, so I don't expect them to start now :)

Just a little quirk of theirs lol.

Fan's hopefull assumptions.  She doesn't reply to every single question.  Assuming a "no further comment" equals post ending DLC is taking a big leap of faith.

Patience.

If we are just guessing here...it's probably semantics. The actual endings are done and will not be changed. However, the upcoming DLC could be an epilogue piece that can stand on its own.

If they are working on something ending related, they are not going to admit it now anyway. So it can be either way. If they indeed are and we have to pay for it, I see another ****storm coming.

This SOOO should have been an option for Priority Earth. But with limitations. You can't pick Grunt AND Wrex because one of them needs to lead the Krogan.

Arggh! That mission... so much potential wasted. Oh well! :D

As for that statement? I don't believe it either. They said this before the EC. I think it's more of a half-truth. They won't change the ending as it is, but I do believe they will expand upon it.

Why didn't people listen to them the first eleven thousand times they've been saying it?

Casey Hudson said it, Jessica Merizan said it, Chris Priestly said it, Tully Ackland said it. It's really, really, really old news.

It's funny how boring the temporary names of the Mass Effect tracks are before they're titled. "Reaper Crush." Sounds like a soft drink.
