Presumably all three ME games. Wonder what they are finishing up? Sure sounds "final". Maybe the rumours about the next DLC being the last DLC aren't so crazy after all.

It makes me feel sad

I know that this was going to happen, but I don't really want to wait until next-gen to play a new ME game.
I dunno if I can survive that long without any Mass Effect content... I really hope they launch a small ("XboxLive/PSN" small) game during that period.

It would fit with the one-year timeframe thing, particularly if certification is going to take over a month or so. Realistically the powers-that-be might want to move on, perhaps?

Certainly sounds like the ME3 team is farewelling the game, and moving on to other projects. They even called in people who are now working on DA (like Sylvia) to mark the occasion, so it sounds rather final.

It is depressing, isn't it? Like, we all knew ME3 was the end of Shepard's story but with the DLC cycle it kind of kept the book open. Feels like we're about to turn to the last page all of a sudden and that will be it. Hopefully they keep putting out content for MP to tide us over until ME4. Looks like we'll be getting more comics at some point too. But really, it's going to be hard to put the book back on the shelf.

No, its really sad.

Jos squashed that a while back, I believe before he went on vacation. It's all the same one, assuming there even is going to be a "Citadel" DLC. I would assume it will play a major part in it. While all this news is very sad, there is one glimmer of hope: the DLC is coming soon. If that was their last meeting, must mean they are getting close. I guess March 6 would be a good estimate of when the next DLC is coming out...

I think that's the massive DLC that all the writers have been working on. A lot of the community calls it Citadel, I'm calling it Anniversary, since it seems like that is when it is going to be coming out.

Edmonton has produced nothing since Leviathan. Whatever they are on the cusp of releasing has been in the works since Leviathan's completion.

This news is making me very sad. When I picked up the first Mass Effect I wouldn't have thought that it would have been my favourite series ever. Wonder if it will be one last DLC or maybe two, guess we will here it soon. Thanks BioWare for giving me for myself one of the best series of all time. Can't wait for the DLC reveal.

My guess is that they are just finishing work on the unannounced DLC, and that is their last piece of work on the franchise.
