3 games? Let the speculation begin ;)

1. DA3 (obviously)
2. ME Multiplayer-stand-alone? (yes that one that was scrapped)
3. new franchise or ME4?

What other games are produced at Edmonton?

They were talking about ME1, 2, and 3.

Just out of our final ME3 team meeting. We watched the launch trailers for all 3 games. What an amazing group of people. It's been an honor.

Sylvf ‏@Sylvf1
Attended the last Mass Effect 3 design standup ever (along with some other ME ex-pats invited down for the occasion) It was quite a ride.

That... sounds like a wrap?

Edit: It sounds like it's a good occasion to thank all the ME team members for over five years of hard work, you all made some really incredible games.

Sounds like they've finished the final SP DLC for Mass Effect 3, this is just screaming post-ending DLC.

The Edmonton team is the one that made ME1, 2 & 3 right? If so then it seems they've finished their work on this franchise, and they'll move on to this new IP whilst the studio in Montreal makes the next Mass Effect.

They have my attention with this last DLC I admit, maybe I'll buy it out of respect to the franchise and the team's hard work over the last 5/6 years.

That entire statement just flew right over your head eh? They were referring to all 3 Mass Effect games.

Thank you Bioware for Mass Effect. Despite everything, it's an amazing game with amazing characters. I liked ME, but fell in love with ME2 then got my heart ripped out, stomped on and lived to tell the tale with ME3. It's been a ride. Good job guys.

Well not really.
DA3 isnt it time for small teaser?
ME Multiplayer is obviously succesfull. Foolish not to expand upon it? (Originally they had vehicles in it)
New IP. Confirmed.

Looks like a final goodbye, but then again who makes the next DLC? And if there is none... why not say so ?

Thus closes a chapter and ends a story, and in so doing, opens new chapters and stories to be explored by others.

Things may end, but a final end will never come, as long as other stories can be found.

It would certainly make more sense, chronologically speaking.

Mildly...curious...as to what it will turn out to be. If it does what you guess it may, and satisfactorily at that, I may get it straight away. If it is "merely" a self-contained, albeit grand, story-DLC, I may get it regardless- once certain compatibility-issues are taken care of, if present.

They quite clearly mentioned they watched the launch trailers, so unless DA3, ME4, and a multiplayer ME come out next week, it seems likely they were talking about ME 1-3.

Last i heard they do show the trailers to the public before launch;) No sense in hyping their own team. Dont you think?
But i guess we are talking about ME1-3 after all.

Wow, this is big news! Although, given all the hints, rumors and vague tweets lately, maybe not entirely unexpected, but still.. Wow!

Despite the fact that my favorite video game trilogy did not have a conclusion I always hoped and expected it would be, it was one hell of a ride!

From the Normandy shake-down run on Eden Prime till gasping for breath in London rubble... What a journey!

Sorry, I got a little emotional here... *Vigil Theme playing in background...*

Fantastic! I thoroughly enjoyed this entire series of games. I got the closure from the Extended Cut that I wanted and I am content. Looking forward to this "Final Goodbye" if this is indeed, their last DLC.

Judging by your avatar, that's not due to her performance.

Wow I can not believe that this is the "true" end for Mass Effect 3. Thank you Bioware for all the hard work on the trilogy; vague ending and all. It was truly a privilege to enjoy the epic journey that cost you guys years of your lives and time away from families. Here's to you Bioware, may this last DLC be your best yet, and to the best of luck in the future!

Really hoping that this dlc will wrap up this game like it deserves. It's been great. I've loved playing mass effect and really hope it ends on a high.

Well... maybe?

At the time ME3 was finishing production, ME4 hadn't officially been greenlit yet, and I don't think they were thinking that far ahead when they decided to end things the way they did.

So now ME4 is an inevitability and BioWare is faced with the possibility having to reconcile three completely different endings (in repercussion if not actual execution) in order to move forward.  So maybe, instead of waiting to "canonize" a One True Ending for ME4, they could very well do it with this last ME3 DLC.

Of course they could follow an idea down the rabbit-hole and end up with a final product that has all the trappings of cleverness but winds up imploding once the slightest bit of logic is applied to it, but when has BioWare ever done...

Oh, crap.

All we know so far is that this is the last DLC Edmonton is developing... probably. There's nothing solid to show that Montreal won't make another SP DLC to perhaps link in with ME4. Reading Tweet's relies a lot on interpretation. It's fine to assume the worst, but to talk like this is a solid truth is a little misleading.

Anyway, I for one wouldn't mind if this is the last SP DLC. It has to end at some point and I'm looking forward to playing the "complete" game with my canon Shepard.
