Magic Find.

Someone needs to tell the devs they need to activate the perfect gem.

I do remember and it's even here in this thread, explained by Patrick Weekes, you just have to search for it ;)

But I guess you're referring to what Mac Walters said regarding the Rachni. In the EC you do have quite differing outcomes, just depends on if that is enough of a change for you or not.

"[The presence of the Rachni] has huge consequences in Mass
Effect 3. Even just in the final battle with the Reapers."

I've done the final battle and didn't notice any difference.
Did any one notice anything huge?

Yes, there are differences - if you want details, send me a PM to avoid spoilers

[edit]to avoid spoilers, sry Chris

It would be a shame to close this thread because people can't keep spoilers out of the No Spoilers forum.

Is it bad that I had no incentive to buy Dead Space 3 but because of this news I kind of want it now?

I dunno if it's bad... But I can tell you that you are not alone, my interest in DS3 has increased a lot because of that suit.
Sometimes I really hate my favoritism towards the Alien Trilogy and Mass Effect...

Despite the suit looking pretty damn cool it still doesn't make me want to get DS3. After seeing the demo footage calling it a horror game would be a joke.

I still don't get it why people call these games horror:
If the Dead Space saga is considered Horror, then Quake is a War Simulator...

The games are more like Aliens (The second movie), than Alien: The Eight Passenger: Is all about fighting creepy monsters in space.

When a game is filled with enemies, action, gives you the best weapon from the start and enough ammo to barely worry about it, the horror goes away 5 mins after the game started.

Try playing at harder settings, you won´t have the munition problem (the Plasma Cutter is kind of the jack of all stats weapon, others are more useful but in more defined situations). And I´d say DS is horror the same way The Thing was when the monster revealed itself.

More on topic, helmet aside, I like more that design than the one from ME3. And unlike Amalur and DA2, at least here the settings match.

PS: Where are you from lostmercenary99? The Eight Passenger was added only in some international releases AFAIK.

To people asking: I have no info on more ME3 DLC or DA3 & no info on when I'll have more info. When I have info or forecast, I'll let U know

(i'm surpised no one posted this yet)
so he basically confirmed that he is as much in the dark with info as we are. so anytime he has denied something the company is telling him to do so basically

A horror game is a true horror game, in my opinion, when you are not allowed to fight against the monsters and need to run away.

Take amnisia for example when compared to a normal console horror game, one lets you kill and mutilate the boogeymen attacking you, and the other makes you run and hide for your life.

I find it a fact that when you can kill something, or hurt it, with ease. Than those creatures no longer become scary, just gross looking with all their mutated gore.

Wait... Which one? The original or the remake?
I won the games on the hardest difficulty, on the second game I didn't have too many issues with the ammo because I used "The Force" a lot... That glove was worth all the trouble

Personally, I don't have problems if you can hurt it... The problem comes if you can hurt the creature easely.
If they die quickly or if you can go Rambo, then is just an action game with ugly monsters.
