Sam had a follow-up message that basically confirmed the tears would be for something sad or otherwise poignant.

No tears of joy, sorry.

god when all the dlc has ended for  the game will eb called Emo-effect..I'm just joking

But really, why do Bioware want a sad bunch of people playing the game?

Because we the fans represent Hansel and Gretel and Bioware represents the wicked witch that wants to eat us?

Moved floors at work today because I'm transitioning to go work on Dragon Age 3! Lots of exciting things to learn and do. :)

Looks like the dragon age team is collecting war assets.

First patrick weekes now Josh Hendriks, I wonder what planet they had to scan.

Please, for the love of all that's holy. His name is "Jos", without the "h". But given that this is BSN him being renamed to "Josh" is already canon now... :innocent:

Hmm. Will we get a trailer from BW regarding this new DLC before the Prophet OneTrueShot tells us anything about it first? Unusual.

He accurately "predicted" content from upcoming DLCs and had a good track record.

It was speculated he was BioWare employee or someone with access to the content before it went live (tester at platform holder, etc).

Ah ok, thanks for clarifying.  Yup I can see now why BioWare would polietly ask him to stop :)

Oh that's right, I'm sorry, when you posted in this thread a month or two back in which you stated it was "all hands on deck for the next dlc" you were including yourself in that mix weren't you?

Sorry about the mixup :)

Has it been refreshing to come back to work and be on a different project? Oh and also, did you move floors up? Or down? Posted Image

I would have been part of that all hands, yes.
Coming back to work is still ongoing really, you can't just jump back in 110% within a day after a 4 week vacation. Moving to DA gives me new challenges and a new kind of excitement again working with a lot of people I've not worked with before. I moved up floors.

Though that doesn't mean that this next DLC will be the last overall right? Because like...you were designing levels and stuff if I'm not mistaken.

I totally understand that, I had heard you were on holidays recently but wasn't aware this was your first day back. So welcome back! As for DA, I'm sure you'll fit right in. You seem like a really kind person by the way in which you've helped maintain the buzz on these forums and in turn, kept people's sanity in-check Posted Image

So I just want to say personally, now that it all seems to be coming to a close, thank you for all your dedication to your work, and to us (your fans on the BSN).

I look forward to seeing your future work on DA3.

It's the last, Patrick Weekes tweeted the other day that "ME3 is over for us, but that does not necessarily mean it is over for you (the fans)."

Jos, quick question...and kinda outside the thread topic, but how different is your design process in switching from Unreal to Frostbite for the level design? It seems as though Frostbite allows for much larger environments and even if the implementation of design to the engine is kinda similar between the two tool sets, does it free you up to think "bigger" in your level ideas?

I'm sure you're given specific level assignments, but I was just kinda curious if technical advances in the game engine are allowing you to "dream a little bigger" in your designs.

Well...maybe that means the next dlcs will be made by Montreal then.
