Patrick is now on the DA writer's team, so his writer's block has nothing to do with ME3. And could the ending-haters please stop spamming this thread? We all know, that everyone hates the ending and no one will buy the DLC yadayada.

Hasn't Illium been ransacked by the Reapers? I could've sworn it says it on a newsfeed and the little information box you get when you're in the Galaxy Map. Be a little hard to get some R&R when the Reapers have already drunk all the booze and stole the casino chips.

I reckon it's Doran and he's moved on up since Flux and has invited Shepard and Co. to come see his new place.

Good point, it's a warzone:

Reaper forces met a surprising amount of resistance at Illium. Its leaders were paranoid about keeping their fortunes, and were influential in both Terminus and Citadel space. They acquired a large defense fleet and a high number of fission weapons, and in the brief space battle, used them on the Reaper fleet's troop transports rather their near-impervious capital ships. As a result, the inevitable ground invasion has been slowed to a crawl as the Reapers manufacture more troops.

Hardly the place for rest and relaxation.

Beause they decide to do something ending related? I know they said numberous of times that they won't do that, but still. I have hope!

Just a thought that slipped my mind. I don't believe in ending changing DLC's but BW didn't make Omega and others a hub because there's a full scale war going on and it wouldn't be "realistic"

So I frowned an eyebrow when seeing an R&R screenshot.

That could just be the conclusion of that DLC or just a small scene where you have to look for someone in that casino.

I am pretty sure that this is on the Citadel as it just looks like the Wards to me. 

BTW: Why would it be on Illium or even Thessia? Illium was invaded by the reapers so I imagine that a casino there would not be that cozy after that. Thessia was also attacked (at least if you play the DLC after Thessia).

I am pretty sure that this is the datamined "Citadel" DLC !!

Why do you take this "R&R" thing for face value? I mean, what we see on this picture is a street from one of the 5 wards (huge space-mega-cities). We already know that the wards are full of shops, locales, casinos and other establishments. In the picture we can see one of those.

We don't know yet what role it would play (if any) in the dlc. It could be just a place which would serve as a location for meeting with someone or doing something mission related (like Hotel Azure in ME2).

Casey not necessarily meant to suggest that we would use it for R&R in the dlc or that the dlc would revolve around fun and R&R (don't think it would happen... most probably it's going to be a story dlc... actually that's the only scenario which would make sense), but only that the place we can see is a nice place for R&R, as a funny remark for the sake of revealing a location as a teaser.

Actually last may it had 3.5 million sold copies... now? Who knows... most probably over 4 million sold copies... + there's the trilogy-box set release.
