I hope one day to have an MP where we can actually move through a more living environment. Like through the streets of Rio, or London, slaying enemies on the way. Instead of one stationary outpost.

That's it? Wonderful, they better be coming out with a trailer next week or something. Getting tired of MP getting everything.

2. MP dlc is a hell of a lot easier to make.
3. Its free so stop complaining.

Given how they didn't say anything, and the picture didn't reveal anything (it just looked to be an Atlas in some underwater scene), I'm guessing that single-player DLC is still at least a month out.Splinter Cell 108 wrote...

If they were going to have a trailer, they would have showed it yesterday. All they came up with was an image that they threw up on the screen at the last second.

I know all of that and I'm not complaining. I just want SP to have more things, seems like MP gets better and better but SP stays the same.

Understandable grumble but have to remember SP DLC will always take much longer because you need to record VA and script everything whereas MP is just - create new assets/maps and voila!

Yeah, I guess it's just impatience from my part. More waiting sometimes guarantees a better experience, I hope the SP DLC, whatever it may be sticks to that.

You think we multiplayer fans don't want some SP as well? We were all mass effect fans before ME3, multiplayer is just a fun way to pass the time and live out fantasies about being other races from the ME universe.
SP love is comming, just wait a while longer.

Didn't say that, after all I play multiplayer as well. As for playing other races, I like that, I hope they think of doing that in an RPG way next time though.

So much for the idea of multiplayer being handled by a separate team.
Perhaps they don't have any SP levels to make at the moment? It's not unusual for devs to work on different projects while they wait for something else to move along to a point where they're needed again.

Sorry, I've run into a lot of people recently who have thought this way and wasted no time telling me so.

didnt Mike Gamble spout off about having something big to release/discuss at SDCC? All they released was a picture? I mean, the MP DLC is cool and all, even though I dont play it, but I would think that most people were interested in some SP content, yea?
or maybe there still working on that dlc
just give them time man

Okay, so it sounds like the other devs have been working on SP content. That's cool.
Although, what I was really hoping to get an idea of at the SDCC was where BW sees the franchise going. I understand nothing would have been written in stone, but I want to know what is twinkling in their eye, so to say. What kind of ideas are they throwing around for the future? Beyond DLC.
Or do they not know what direction they're going to take for a Next Big Thing game? They must have some ideas. It would nice if they shared their thought process.
DLC is cool and fun, but for me it's kinda like living on beans and rice while wishing you had a good steak.

I agree. But if Mike Gamble is hyping up some new info drop at SDCC and they dont do that, well, thats just kind of annoying and underwhelming. Anyways, barring some awesome reversal of priorities and management at Bioware, Im done with ME3, so they can take all the time in the world.Tazzmission wrote...
