Stupid thing is there are people who are still posting comments all over like, "Well until I see the DLC, I don't believe you,"

Romance DLC or it incorporates romance, it actually just hit me looking over her tweets and then the line about feedback from the fans.

Well a romance DLC was one which folk did want and I can see this DLC involving Shephard and love interest getting married or whatever it is going to be called in the game. I mean they said folk would cry and weddings often make folk cry.

I could be wrong but maybe not so just wait and see.

so could the price tag on the wedding dress ;)

but really why speculate I wonder if anyone will guess right about this dlc

Do you think we will ever see the devs playing the dlc's they made?, it would be intresting to see how they play there own games.

Absolutely. I make sure to play whatever DLC i'm producing at least a few times a week. That way, it's easier to work with the team, give feedback, and finish it!

I have always wonderd, when you make the dlc, do you play while making it, for xample you go back to the start of a quest and play it or do you wait until the entire dlc is finished?

As long as it is a story driven DLC I will buy it regardless. I don't care if it is ending related or not.

Thing is, I'm actually relieved. Mass Effect 3's ending is a minefield, Bioware is doing well to avoid it. So many people have taken it in different ways - different interpretations, or different opinions, I'm refering to both - returning to the ending would not help matters.

So yeah, colour me interested in the next DLC and fully intending to pick it up. I'll probably enjoy it regardless, but if there is squadmate dialogue, a decent mystery, and a Reaper presence, I'll be one very happy fan.

We play our own work in the sense that we test changes we make, which means we see our own work ingame on a daily basis while working on it.

I dont really know how many more times they have to say that they aren't changing the ending or adding things post ending before people get it. I mean yes I'd like a post ending DLC but it just isn't going to happen.

Its due to the fact that Merizan and Priestly are not exactly fountains of accurate information from Bioware.  Most people would accept a writen statement on the Bioware devblog page.  I mean its obvious that most people dont take Merizan or Priestlys statements too seriously since they often backtrack, get things wrong, or convey their message poorly/in a way that can be interpreted.

If a dev said it then sure.  I personally dont put much stock in the word of the community team.

Its not official until its writen in a formal statement on the site or said by someone who is actively involved in the dev team.  Just it seems that NOBODY aside from merizan or priestly want to comment on the "endings" whatsoever.

Conspiratorial paranoia is hardly a constructive attitude - maybe Hudson, Mike Gamble et al don't comment on the endings because every time they say the slightest thing about ME3's story (or any game's story, for that matter) a hundred people ridicule or insult them? I mean, I can totally see why the dev team has stayed away from commenting publicly on anything remotely to do with Mass Effect 3 for close to a year now. The community team handle rabid fans because that's their job.

Regardless, mistrusting the community team is fine if that's what you want to do - you'll just have to wait a week before being proven wrong - but maintaining false expectations is only going to be bad in the long run, particularly if fans believe in a vast conspiracy when none actually exists.

Its nothing to do with a conspiracy or saying I believe something one way or the other. Its just that Merizan and Priestly are not exactly reliable sources of information.

Now im sure at one point that she wasnt going to be a squadmate... and that "plans changed".  Its this "plans changing" which is the issue.  Id rather hear it from the horses mouth than from people who may have outdated information.

And now people are going to rage and make threats because they're upset that BioWare didn't do something they said they weren't going to do. Makes no sense.

If I remember correctly, only Garrus was returning (not counting Liara) ancd not Tali because of the whole exile thing. Then the Tali fans went crazy because they wanted her for all 3 games, and I'll admit it would have been odd to have no Tali, and so they went back and added her in.

And In my view, ME3 benefited from it. I thought the whole Rannoch section of ME3 was one of the highlights of the game, especially the scene when Shep and Tali were looking out on the cliff face after defeating the reaper...

Put simply, those are some of the easiest things to fake. Seriously. Anyone who can right click on Chrome can modify things.
