Hence the 'nocontext' hashtag they put. It's all fun for them
Example: Leviathan didn't receive that much hype, and turned out to be quite good - better than ME3 even, some would say. Omega, on the other hand, was hyped close to hypeothermic death and, well, wasn't even remotely as appreciated as Leviathan.
Perhaps it's not the quality of the DLC, but the expectations people have. The more you hype, the higher your expectations. I think anybody could map out the positive correlation between the two factors.

Each of the quotes links to a page where you can read the whole interview; therefore, you can get the context if you wish.
By the way, this is the second paragraph of the quote you mentioned:
"It’s more like there are some really obvious things that are different and then lots and lots of smaller things, lots of things about who lives and who dies, civilizations that rose and fell, all the way down to individual characters. That becomes the state of where you left your galaxy..."
It merely adds redundant information, but it doesn't refute the first paragraph, in which Casey said that the game wouldn't feature a typical A, B, or C choice of endings, which it did.
The first one I clicked, the one about Reapers winning, was wrong. I had to go and track down the quote that showed Bioware said it wasn't possible and demand the OP stop deliberately misleading people. He did put it in the OP eventually, but the point still stands, his link was misleading and the OP was throwing out information without caring how accurate it was. It's deceitful.
And you even misquoted the second paragraph, which is also deceitful, so here's the full quote for those of us that don't think misleading half-information is a way to discover if someone is lying:
Yeah, and I’d say much more so, because we have the ability to build the endings out in a way that we don’t have to worry about eventually tying them back together somewhere. This story arc is coming to an end with this game. That means the endings can be a lot more different. At this point we’re taking into account so many decisions that you’ve made as a player and reflecting a lot of that stuff. It’s not even in any way like the traditional game endings, where you can say how many endings there are or whether you got ending A, B, or C.
It’s more like there are some really obvious things that are different and then lots and lots of smaller things, lots of things about who lives and who dies, civilizations that rose and fell, all the way down to individual characters. That becomes the state of where you left your galaxy. The endings have a lot more sophistication and variety in them. It would be interesting to see if somebody could put together a chart for that. Even with Mass Effect 2’s...
So he's talking about how different games can be at the end. That there's some really obvious things, like civilisations that rose and fell or who lives and who dies, all the way down to individual characters. Like how you believe a Destroy ending with no Geth or Quarians, Jack turned into a Phantom, Wreav leading the newly cured Krogans and Eve dead, a romanced Miranda who died in your arms and Javik contemplating living with the Hanar to be exactly the same as another Destroy ending where none of that stuff happened. He doesn't. He considers those endings, the state of where you left your galaxy, to be different.
Trying to pretend those endings are the same doesn't mean they are, and it doesn't mean he's lying.

Yeah, was just about to post that.
The week after next starts from Feb 18th, so I guess (as Chris said) we can possibly expect more information around that time.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the original ending doesn't show you how various civilizations end up -- Mass Relays are always destroyed, and the Normandy always ends up on that "paradise" planet. You don't know what happens to the Krogan, the Geth, Quarians, Turians, the Asari, Humans, or Salarians. Sometimes, you don't even know how many members of your crew survive. Therefore, the (original) ending is definitely a choice between A, B, or C. The Extended Cut DLC provided a bit more context, but you still have to choose A, B, C, or D at the end.And you even misquoted the second paragraph, which is also deceitful, so here's the full quote for those of us that don't think misleading half-information is a way to discover if someone is lying:

It would be nice to hear at least what is this DLC soon (next week).
Omega only got a trailer the day before it's release, but everyone already knew what the DLC was about.
Also, for you guys that watch the twitter, the previous DLC were so talked about in there like this one too?

This is the most interesting part about this DLC.
I just can't imagine what it will be about.
Its citadel themed.
It got a new area (R&R).
What do we make of this?

I think thats one of the main reasons that the developers don't come here as much. Whatever they say it gets jusmped on and then makes people mad. They really can't win at the moment,

Indeed. The pic wasn't really enough to found anything upon. We know there *has* to be gameplay, but nothing there indicates that there is. However, the notion that it's just a 'chill out' DLC is absurd since it's been in development for six months!
Where are the grand speculators when you need them?

Tables would be flipped; the cops would end up raiding it, and more than half the ppl would end up in jail. Over the weekend, no less. Court dates covering assault on a C-Sec officer w/ a deadly weapon..and general hooliganism will be pending based on survival of the Reaper War.
Oh, Shep.....

Wait, you're telling me that if you destroy the Quarians, and see them be destroyed, it means you don't see how they end up unless you see it twice?
Therefore it's a lie to say you see how they end up unless you're shown it again a few hours later?
What?
No matter how hard you try to pretend that's a lie, it's not.
