They said they won't be adding endings which is fine.
But, correct if I'm wrong, did they say that they won't be expanding the actual endings we've got?

They have said in no uncertain terms multiple times that we will not get any further changes to the endings. Hoping for more than the EC is a fools errand.
Plus, Priestly pretty much said on some thread yesterday (can't remember which one) that this new DLC has no ending content whatsoever because again, they are done with the endings. And things in the DLC that add even a tiny little scene or slide at the end fall under the "changing the ending" category.

But then again, how would it work since some people have them all dead?

and i am not sure if it is pre or post. not saying it will be or not... just saying that there is a chance it is still, low chance but possible ... just have to wait and see.
i mean who knows. maybe it turns out you were on pinnacle station this whole time and there was some kind of glitch

I know, but hey, that´s what hope is for.
I don´t think they actually realize just how much they ****ed up with the endings. Even with EC (which only removed the inferred holocausts and team dextro´s deaths), it still is a franchise killer. While I´m not interested at all in notME4, watching how it performs is going to be interesting. Just hope they won´t blame fans again if they fail.

Those who are still waiting to change be made in the endings will be the first to be disappointed with the new DLC.
I just hope they won't scream and shout when say that Bioware betrayed them when they find that out.
But I doubt they will. I still have a bit of faith in the community.

Several will do. Those who are expecting a final strike of genius from the ME team and refuse to admit that was the way they wanted things to end. Remember to vote with your wallet when notME4 comes around.

They can be dissapointed all they want. As long as they don't blame BioWare and blame themselves for having such high expectations when everything the devs said counteracted their point.

Given all the things that BioWare has said in the past that turned out to be false, you can't blame people for questioning their credibility.

What was said is that they aren't changing the endings. Expecting the opposite of that is delusional.CoolioThane wrote...

There won´t be an A,B,C ending and if you work hard you´ll get a perfect one.
Stopped waiting for those many months ago.

Exactly, im still waiting for the Rachni to have an impact in the final battle on earth.
(Given the fact that they obviously dont even exist in the gameengine it tells a lot about what else we have been promised to hype preorders.)

I don't really understand this attitude.
Fans were (probably justifiably) not very happy with pre-release comments that later turned out to be exaggerated or totally inaccurate, but surely disbelieving "there will be no more ending changes" just because other things were false in the past is totally misguided? Why would Bioware be deceiving you with what you consider as *bad* news?
If anything the trend is towards much more open, careful and accurate information - just look at Dragon Age 3.
If the ultimate message of ME3's backlash was that some fans absolutely hate it when their expectations (helped by a hefty dose of dev hype) aren't matched by the game, why on earth would the developer do anything but try to be more honest, frank and open? If saying "there will be no more ending DLC" a hundred times isn't a clear enough message, what is?
