Fair enough, devSin, but I wouldn't put much stock in these discussions about division of work, resources, and teams.

No matter where these MP levels are made (main gamein Montreal, all DLC levels here by myself and for Earth by 2 additional designers and myself), the division of work is similar. The designers in Montreal who worked on MP before the game came out aren't anymore, but you bet that they're working on *something*
I have been on MP since release because I wanted a different challenge for a bit, and because I have enjoyed doing MP stuff since I started designing levels in a more serious capacity 12 years ago.

EDIT: ofcourse my tablet jumped the gun on submitting the post. MP has been a great pleasure for me the past little while since release. Probably more info than you wanted, but there you go. ThoughI can't speak specifics, I do look forward to thecool things that all the other designers here and in Montreal are working on. Until you know more, take it from me that the love for things besides MP is alive and well here.

Did you just say that YOU alone have been designing the MP levels...dude, thats impressive. And thank you for giving more info than you are probably allowed.

There are others that have helped with bugfixing and finaling on the design side, and of course there are artists, QA, sound engineers that all contribute immensely for each level. Level design is far from the most work intensive part of building a new MP level, but what level design there has been for Resurgence and Rebellion I've taken care of mostly, and Earth has had a dedicated designer per level. Kris Schoneberg made Vancouver, Keith Hayward made Rio, and I did London. (again, with the artists, QA, sound engineers all there as well)

Impressive! I only wish the SP levels were as fun and detailed as the MP ones, you've done an excellent job and I can't wait to see more.

Were the N7/muliplayer levels designed primarily for SP or MP before being ported to the other?

Oh please, there was nothing interesting presented by the Bioware team at that panel. Literally the only interesting ME-related news at SDCC was about the deluxe figures of Tali and Femshep - that was it.

Once again the Bioware PR department failed by building up expectations and not delivering. It's like after being bought out by EA Bioware just wants to flip the bird at fans at every opportunity. I'm not saying that's what's happening, simply what I see from the perspective of a fan.

Over-reacting much?

The purpose of the panel was stated. They talked about the things Mike Gamble said the purpose was about a couple posts up.

It's funny how the devs were saying before hand that soloing Platinum would be nearly impossible.

Two hours after the DLC came out, it was already done. The person who did it said it would have been a no death run if he didn't have a wave 10 escort mission.

So I'm guessing the devs will be looking into ''other possibilities'' (Diamond-Eezo difficulty, anyone)?

I have no idea how they'll outscore this DLC. Other then Spectre DLC.

Spectre DLC could be a good way to bring in some classes people have been requesting for a long time, like Turian Infiltrators.

Also making it fair for the other races. Since the Earth DLC is awesome and only humans.

I understand building suspense and all, but the 1.000.000 tweets about "cool stuff" by Mike are getting on my nerves.
I wish he was more like Mike Laidlaw, he at least drops some hints.

Still curious about what this supposed "awesome stuff" IS though.

I dunno, this time we have real evidence that a dlc for SP will come soon.
So, I say 60 (MP)/40 (SP)

Hate that too, they should at least say something to hint.

If he's going to Montreal, it's most likely MP since Montreal handles MP.
