no. I'll taking waiting a bit longer if means getting a really well made and polished product. Rushing it out the gate is never a good idea and is probably what lead to the original ME3 ending.

What? Nobody has ever said this. The project being developed by Bioware Montreal is still a Mass Effect game.

Six months for a DLC is rushed development? Especially given how small they are, I don't see this being rushed.

Yeah Chris Priestly confirmed that it is DONE a few days ago  and the only thing they do now is test it.

It´s not like it is not even finished so a release after mid-March is crazy.

Given how closely there holding this DLC to there chests, i wouldn't 100% count on it being next week, there being unusually cagey this time around, just figure it'll be before the end of the month.

They're not any more cagey than with Leviathan or Omega, or am I missing something?

I expect only a name and 2 maybe 3 pictures. Priestley will write some blog on the announcement thread I suppose. The trailer will be still weeks away.

By this time before Leviathan we already knew a lot of the lines...we also knew a bit about omega obviously...but this one has been very, very secretive.

Leviathan was in some EC files, Omega was in some Lev files. Omega contained no files, probably because of the different studio who took it up.

It doesn't seem especially secret, other than there was less opportunity for leaks in this case.

Where did you read that Asch? We haven't been told anything specific about the next game. All that has been said so far is that it won't be a linear sequel and it's been hinted that the next game will probably be a "Next Generation" scenario of some kind.

Sort of. I have been quoted as saying "hopefully next week". That means, if things go well, maybe. If they don't go well, unlikely.

Think of it this way, if we said "Its awesome will contain W,X,Y & Z and will be available on X day" but then had to cut W (for whatever reason) and had to move the date, imagine the hate we would get. It is much better to be sure before we start talking.

Thanks for the heads-up and details, I was wondering if it got delayed or if something really weird happened. That sequence  fits in better with the timing of everything.

And as much as I would love a trailer, I like the "making sure we have advertised features" approach. Totally agree on that planning.

Not lying, but I'm saying they have learned to avoid making statements which, to many people through no real fault on anyones part, could be misinterepted rather easily to imply a function or as range of a function or feature, that may not be quite what people expected when seen in real gameplay scenarios.

Oh, it's at certification testing now? Internally at EA or with Sony/MS?

When you first mentioned mid-Feb a while ago I'd assumed that was the rough time BW would be first submitting it for external certification, not nearly finishing certification testing entirely. Certainly more promising in terms of the release timeframe, I guess, than what I was thinking before.
