Well, like he said, any DLC after the EC, will not have anything to do with the endings.  So not surprising.  I again applaud Chris for keeping his patience because it feels like to me the whole "kid in the backseat - Are we there, yet?" everyt time someone asks about DLC/ending related questions.

I've only ever seen them say "Post" ending. Nothing to do with current ending.

Actually...

Chris Priestly - @BioEvilChris

@Hagyma2 We have said since Extended Cut that new DLC will not change the
endings. That's all I can really say now. More detail next week.

Exactly my point. Changing != expanding. Changing is picking B instead of A, expanding is doing A*, it's still A, but with something more.

I´m sorry, but you give a whole new meaning to grasping at straws. Unless ME4 bombs, they´ll never admit ME3 endings were pathetic (and then they´ll only admit it to themselves at best).

I can't see your point. Am I unclear? Ill rephrase.

Chris: Won't change endings, won't be post ending.

Me: Ok, so by exclusion there's a slight chance that'll expand upon EC endings, or that won't deal with the endings at all. But since people were asking him constantly "WILL IT BE ENDING RELEITEDD??!?" he kept saying both those statements (won't change, won't be post ending). Why not "Won't be ending related, **** off"? Simple and easy to remember.

Technically all DLC affects the endings, he's just saying it wont change it or be centred around it.

Omega didn't affect it.

I think expecting anything ending-related is pretty unrealistic, there's no vast conspiracy in place based on Chris tricking everyone with the exact semantics of the sentences he posts on Twitter.

The DLC won't be ending related, period, in my estimation.

Both gave you war assets. Omega quite a substantial amount.

Just pointing out why he's wording it like he is, because all DLC affects the endings, he's just saying it wont change it or be centred around it.

By adding to it I was referring to something more than a number on a screen, tbh :3

Either way, people are talking about ending-RELATED DLC, not DLC that affects the ending which are quite different things.

Yeah, it's just if this new DLC does add say a new line to the Catalyst I expect people will go "OMG Bioware lied" regardless.

Pretty sure Bioware said they were done with altering the ending.

Technically Robo is correct.  All DLC affect the endings.  They all have War Assets associated with them that, in turn, add (or subtract) based on your readiness.

Omega is just the only DLC that doesn't "physically" add/subtract to endings. Example: no extra dialogue or scenes.

...... and now, I am done....

Why would they? A lot of people like the endings.

As much  as I'd like to see improvements to the ending (especially for Destroy "Good") I just don't have any faith that it'll happen... no matter how much it needs to happen IMO at least.

ME3 and the and the trilogy as a whole will always feel imcomplete I guess but I'll always have the memories of ME1 and the sheer epic joy it was to play that game the first time.

At any rate, I'll move on and play other games, maybe even Bioware games.  <_<

Lol. War assets are like the gamerscore on xbox live, not to many people care about them.

And if bioware thinks otherwise then I'm going to laugh my ass off.

It's amazing how people can't stop from derailing this thread for even half a page.

There are numerous threads out there discussing the endings. Take the conversation elsewhere..

Man, you ARE desperate.

That´s just how things work here. Some will grasp at their "post-ending DLC" straws even after Chris or Mike Gamble would post "No DLC that changes the EC endings, adds to those endings and plays post Ending !! Now GTFO and leave me alone"
