I understand building suspense and all, but the 1.000.000 tweets about "cool stuff" by Mike are getting on my nerves.
I wish he was more like Mike Laidlaw, he at least drops some hints.

Still curious about what this supposed "awesome stuff" IS though.

Hate that too, they should at least say something to hint.

I dunno, this team we have real evidence that a dlc for SP will come soon. So, I say 60 (MP)/40 (SP)

If he's going to Montreal, it's most likely MP since Montreal handles MP.

"The designers in Montreal who worked on MP before the game came out
aren't anymore, but you bet that they're working on *something*"

End of line.

He could also be checking out what new project they are working on. With them looking to hire a lead writer and Geoff stating in the Final Hours App that "the plan was to slowly grow the studio so one day it could produce games on its own" (Chapter 7 page 2 paragraph on the bottom left)...well, yeah...

As to what they are working on and if it's ME related I don't think anyone can say at this point. Preston Watamaniuk also went there for a little bit too: twitter.com/PWatamaniuk/status/224547238192496640

Produce games on its own? As in have a studio so large it can handle singleplayer and multiplayer content equally?
Sounds like a logistical nightmare to me. Bigger studios are always harder to manage, and making a game in those conditions can be confusing.
Or its something else entirely and I'm missing something ...

I think the idea was that Montreal had auxillary designers, artists, programmers etc that helped out Edmonton in making ME3's multiplayer. Those developers could just as easily do single-player content, and it seems they are (to some extent, maybe even a separate DLC pack to Edmonton).

Or, if it gained say, a writing team and grew a bit more (as Keighley's Final Hours app said) it could develop entire projects on its own. The Edmonton and Montreal teams could do two entirely separate things without having to shuttle content between them or share a project leadership. As it is, within Edmonton the separate core Dragon Age and ME teams already do this - they're practically mini-studios within the one place, though sharing some staff depending on necessity.

Then again I don't actually know a thing. :wizard:

Perhaps its a a DLC that will make ME3 relevant to the plots of ME1 and 2?

Even those of us that know something don't actually know that much, seeing as we don't work there. But hey, we're customers.
All we can do is SPECULATE. :innocent:

That is actually why I thought it would be a logistical nightmare. Given that both teams had some problems developing their latest projects with the shorter development given to them.

Having a team that large would make things even tougher if they have communication failures. The only solution I see possible is if they have a lot more time to work. Fat chance though...

Call to all who would like something like this (if not, just ignore):

".@PatrickWeekes: I'm sure a lot of people would like to see more of the ME2 squad in future ME3 DLC. RT if you agree!"

More secret stuff @ Montreal Studio...

I send joke tweets to Manveer sometimes since he's always struck me in his replies as generally enjoying them. Here's what I had to say about [SECRET]. I'm sure BSN can unanimously agree on this.

"[SECRET] sounds absolutely [REDACTED]. I'm so stoked to [CENSORED] the [CENSORED] out of [CONFIDENTIAL]."

But anyway, ME2 squadmate fans, re-tweet that Weekes quote and spread the word all over the damn net! Get involved. We might get more content on our somewhat sidelined favorites if we can make our voices loud (yet civilized) enough. :)

If they do this I hope it means that at least two ME2 squadmates would be back. I would have preferred Zaeed instead of EDI IMO. Zaeed is one of my favorite characters.

If they brought any ME2 squadmates back I would like Grunt back the most. Then either Zaeed, Jack or Miranda

I guess we'll see what happens, I'm  just hoping that it isn't a one time mission with whoever they bring back. In that case I'd like Batarian squadmate DLC.

All I really want is the N7 classes from MP be made available to Shepard as specializations or at the very least give him Monomolecular Blades!

I think everyone wants that. I think it's just a matter of time until they give them to us, I hope.

I do hope so, the standard classes in single player have gotten very dull for me and much harder for me to start a new game since multiplayer came, I just love fighting as an N7 Slayer!Image IPB

You DO know what's Ubisoft saying these days right? www.nowgamer.com/news/1491104/assassins_creed_3_ending_is_making_ubisoft_nervous.html I say, be careful. This sounds HELLA lot like Bioware's "not all fans will like the ending"...
