How
big are MP DLCs? I want to know how mcuh of those $G are to the Arena
(because that´s just what the game really needed, more mindless
combat).

You are just a bubbling spring of joy and happiness aren't you?

I know, its pretty silly.

They received more feedback about the endings that they'll ever possibly need, and a lot of it unnecessarily hostile to the point of absurdity.

If people buy Citadel, it's because Citadel is attractive enough for them to purchase it.

The endings won't affect my decision to buy entirely unrelated content, even though I'll still use any opportunity to constructively point out how much I dislike and find ridiculous the last ten minutes of the game.

If Citadel is a smart, character-driven DLC, higher sales might even be a signal that it's worth developing this sort of content.

Thank you! Someone who understands my point!

No, the message is they can screw up whatever & however they like, leave it screwed up, and you´ll still get what they put out, no matter how bad they do are and the little concern they show about you. There´s making mistakes and there´s doing something so bad it seems they were trying.

Are you going to get into the next ME saga and just hope nobody who shouldn´t be allowed to have a pencil in his/her hand will have a sudden "artistic" inspiration?.

And your "message" is unproductive and would lead to the death of mass effect, and yes, the ending is something I don't consider a story killer.

What I do consider a story killer is people not giving support to more content and sending the message that no one wants to have anything related to mass effect anymore.

I'm already "invested" in the Shepard story, as annoyed as I am with how it wound up. I'll likely buy this next DLC because it claims to be a final character reunion, plot driven, etc. , unlike Omega. My expectations are still low, maybe I'll be surprised.

However, I'm certainly not going to pre-order the next Mass Effect game, and if the story ends up being more narratively inconsistent rubbish pandering to the lowest common denominator then I won't be buying it at all.

Pre-preorder cancelled.

Blah blah blah

Let's go back on-topic. Samantha confirmed for Citadel:

twitter.com/PatrickWeekes/status/304641379064238081
"Wait. Hold up.. AND LOVE INTERESTS?! DOES THIS MEAN… OMG… DO I GET MORE TRAYNOR BECAUSE HOLY **** CANNOT HANDLE. CHESS. CHESS CHESS CHESS"

". @ritzyfoxx Gosh, it's been so long, I can't recall. Hey, @AlixWiltonRegan, does Traynor show up in any ME3 DLC that you remember? :D"

twitter.com/AlixWiltonRegan/status/304668216570023937
"@PatrickWeekes @alixwiltonregan You, sir, are a troll. BUT SERIOUSLY. IF MORE TRAYNOR… I WILL BE HAPPIER THAN WORDS OR A GIFSET CAN EXPRESS."

"@ritzyfoxx@PatrickWeekes .... I think she just might ; )"

Rather safe to say all romances will be back.

Still, that's a reasonable stance to take, in my opinion.

BW likely wishes all its customers were like you, Darth. I really hope they aren´t.

And the message is own up to your errors and do something about them (and no, EC didn´t), or face the consequences.

And I think a fast death is much better than a slow agony. So far ME looks headed a bit more towards the latter. I know unless it´s a reboot I have zero interest in notME4. And even if it is, I´ll be very careful before getting closer. Not getting burned twice.

Jacob situation has been beyong fixing since day 1 IMO unfortunately. Thane though, we'll see. He technically dies post-coup, or there may be some "flashback" romance content for Than-mancers included in Citadel. Quite a few possibilities. Wouldn't rule Thane out competly yet

You can probably do the DLC right after getting Garrus, so Thane would be alive then, so he is a possibility.  Jacob, though, yeah, he just didn't want the priiiize bad enough. Maybe femshep can shoot him. :innocent:

Exactly. :) Can only mean good things for character interactions :) Plus, there will be mini-games in casino, could take more space than we think. Also, furnishing Shep's apartement

I wonder if Dusty designed the apartment. As the Normandy's designer, he probably has the most experience with variable set pieces (since the ship and cabin change quite a bit throughout the game).

Will be interesting to see.

I wanted them to fix the ending, but even before that, I told Mike that squad content is a must. I wasn't able to get Omega for that reason, and I'll be buying Citadel for that reason. That was really the only requirement I ever set for them to get my business for ME3 DLC.

That doesn't mean I have any intention of investing in any future installments (I have no real interest in any further ME games, and I've said repeatedly that I will be unwilling to purchase any game that shares the same lead writer). But I still care about the characters in this trilogy, enough that I'm willing to set aside my distaste for the ending and the way the situation was handled (and I think the team deserves the support for working so hard and choosing to focus on the characters that really define the trilogy).

So no, there are consequences. I don't really care about the franchise anymore. It's just something that's not reflected in my DLC purchasing decisions for this trilogy (well, it actually is, since I would have purchased Omega even without squad content if the ending had not been so atrocious).

You don't send messages through protest, no protest has ever worked. You send messages via actually sending messages, as in sending in letters, starting awareness campaigns, and generally orginizing efforts to make it damn well clear that you have a message, this is what it is, and that you have some form of clout to make it happen.

When you simply boycott or protest, and give no clear structure to your message outside of "I am angry and mad!" than it's doesn't really strike a person as a actual large group of people who are working to some goal, and more just a mob being mad and who would never be satisfyed with any product.

If you don't like the series anymore, don't buy it's content. That's cool, no problem with that at all. If other people feel the same way, okay, they can also choose not to buy it.

But don't pulls this BS about doing this as some kind of great strugle for the good of the people, becasue it's not. It's a bunch of angry people acting like ****s on the internet and doing what any sane person does, but being pretentious and highly confrontational about it.

Not holding out hope for Mordin and Thane content but maybe Bioware slipped a few little bits with them in prior to the actual dlc. I doubt it but they may have

Has anyone on here bugged Bioware on Twitter about Thane and Jacob yet? Or about the almost-romance between Shepard and Samara in ME2 being continued? I'd be interested in seeing their responses to those.

@Erik_Haltson this is our last DLC for ME3 so I can safely say that post-ending DLC will not happen.

@JessicaMerizan @Erik_Haltson I thought we were told Bioware were listening to fan feedback on this one? #Nevermindthen

@Chris_Erwood @Erik_Haltson We did, and the numbers did all the talking. You are not in the majority, despite what you may believe.

It´s always being said to vote with the wallet (no idea if BW actually said it, but it´s very common with entertainment media), so I do. Reduced revenues is the only language some people understand.

And remember this when (and yes, it´ll be a when and not an if) they screw up from your POV.

I guess notME4 will tell. Either that or we are all the same people on every forum.

And what numbers?
