It´s always being said to vote with the wallet (no idea if BW actually said it, but it´s very common with entertainment media), so I do. Reduced revenues is the only language some people understand.

And remember this when (and yes, it´ll be a when and not an if) they screw up from your POV.

When they do, I will close my account, stop buying their products, and leave, like a normal person.

I won't turn the whole thing into a goddamn spectacle for the entire world to gawk at, and shove my opinion in everyones face for close to a year now.

I wonder if Dusty designed the apartment. As the Normandy's designer, he probably has the most experience with variable set pieces (since the ship and cabin change quite a bit throughout the game).

No, the message is they can screw up whatever & however they like, leave it screwed up, and you´ll still get what they put out, no matter how bad they do are and the little concern they show about you. There´s making mistakes and there´s doing something so bad it seems they were trying.

I wanted them to fix the ending, but even before that, I told Mike that squad content is a must. I wasn't able to get Omega for that reason, and I'll be buying Citadel for that reason. That was really the only requirement I ever set for them to get my business for ME3 DLC.

That doesn't mean I have any intention of investing in any future installments (I have no real interest in any further ME games, and I've said repeatedly that I will be unwilling to purchase any game that shares the same lead writer). But I still care about the characters in this trilogy, enough that I'm willing to set aside my distaste for the ending and the way the situation was handled (and I think the team deserves the support for working so hard and choosing to focus on the characters that really define the trilogy).

So no, there are consequences. I don't really care about the franchise anymore. It's just something that's not reflected in my DLC purchasing decisions for this trilogy (well, it actually is, since I would have purchased Omega even without squad content if the ending had not been so atrocious).

I agree completely. I love the characters and that's why I will pay the $15. 4 gigs is a lot of stuff for the money. They could have sold it for $30, but they didn't. I most likely still won't buy Lev and Omega, though, and future products are looking iffy, for me at least.

No, you won´t. Because you´ve loved the product so far, and will not want to believe it could go so wrong, and hope it´s all part of some great plan, or a thousand other things to just refuse to accept they screwed up royally, lied to you (rachni...), and all they want from you is to shut up and keep paying for whatever they do next. Your approval is an appreciated bonus, but not a mandatory one.

Or maybe you are smarter than the majority of us and don´t let yourself get so involved into a freaking videogame (books, music, movies & TV also valid here). If you are, good for you, if you aren´t, learn from this and be careful.

No, you won´t. Yeah, I've had a bunch of bad movies, comics, political movements, video games, and tv shows to actually give me large doses of dissapointment, and learned how to cope with it in a healthy way.

Nothing is as bad as being a fan of some series, hearing it's getting adapted into a movie or show, and than seeing the numerous bad changes made. But when that happens, I simply say "Alright, I don't like this anymore" and put it down. I cope, let go, accept what has happened, and move on to a new series. I did that with bleach and nartuo when they slide into complete retardation mode, and am not lurking forums posting about how much kibo or kishimoto have betrayed me, and hurt me, and that they should be fired, die, and have horrible things befall them until they fix their mistakes and that a message must be sent to save everything, like ME fans have done.

I don't cling to something, make it a corner stone of my life, and than get crushed by things. It's just not in my nature to get that...dependant would be the word. My only real problem with your post originally was the amount of zealot preaching and mongering in it, and how annoying it was to see someone showing their opinion so hard in others faces without any real reason to do so.

Now can we please stop replying to eachother or take this to pm? We're derailing the thread.

That's interesting. Not gonna speculate on it though.

Well, it could be as straightforward as: "It made the most sense to have this DLC take place at _____ part of the game, so we had to make some tough choices." That could be seen as ... complicated. Or, perhaps it's something better for the Thane folks. Who knows.

I guess its possible that installing the dlc will remove the current scene with Thane dying and will had some a longer and better version. I don't know. I still think it's a dumb idea to romance someone who you know is dying and as made it very clear that he can't be cured.

I like the idea, i was a bit disappointed by Omega, don't mind that it's not ending related.Something funny, most of the people here ****ing about the casino wanted a hub in omega, which if it was like in ME2 would have had some sort of entertainment...I just don't get these people, I swear I don't, it's like "let's **** about EVERYTHING and may be they'll change the ending for us"
