Hey wait a minute.

If this thread is about ME3 dlc tweets, and this is the last ME3 dlc to get released, what's gonna happen to this thread when the dlc hits?

Oh dear.

Yep, keep your head in the sand. I dare speak out as to how retarded designing an apartment in the citadel is whilst millions die around us, gambling whilst we should be saving the Galaxy. How dare I think that is a bit stupid and not be ****ing over every single thing they do!

"Some chill time" can kill things. The hours we spend outfitting an apartment could be spent saving lives, but no. Whatever, if you don't want someone to actually think...

Good gosh... David Gaider wasn't kidding when he said the BSN forums have gone to ****.

I never said your argument was invalid. Learn to read a bit, ok? I'm saying that the idea of Shepard chilling with his friends is NOT improbable.

Oh wait, you're saying that the idea of legendary war hero can NOT have an apartment in the Citadel because he has a galaxy to save! Boohoo... How horrible that other people's Shepard knows how to relax and have a bit of fun rather than working himself to death in fighting the Reapers.

Better go tell other game companies like Bethesda that they better stop allowing the Dragonborn from buying a house in Makerath because he has a world to save against that big evil dragon god! OH better yet tell Bioware that they better not DARE allow characters like Revan  from Knights of the Old Republic to stop and play pyjack or have speeder races because Darth Malak might wipe out the Republic if he does!

Look if you don't like the idea of a DLC in which it expands upon the Mass Effect 2 squad along with other companions across the trilogy than don't buy it.

In the end, it's OPTIONAL.

If it bothers you that much... Heck play the DLC with your Renegade Shepard since he's a dick and would proabably do that... :P

I don´t get it. All they have to do is hint to the plot. It´s not like anything (end)game changing is going to happen in this DLC.

It doesn't have to be end-game related to be a spoiler. Or would you have liked to see the Tuchanka-arc spoilered in a trailer? I for one would like to be surprised by what Wrex and all the squadmates have to do in the DLC and how the conspiracy unfolds and wouldn't like this to be spoilered.

You know, the more I think of it, the more mass effect might benefit from some form of structure. Not a lot, but a bit to give some missions more priority over others.

Which is what ME3 did. There are certain missions that have only a small window of time where you can do them, otherwise you fail them (since this is a no-spoiler forum I don't name them here).

And as was said in ME3 itself, the Reaper war in the last cycles lasted decades. It's not like a day or two of RNR would change the outcome of the war.

Sorry, I don't want this thread to continue. There are no surprises and no lies when we say that we are not making any ME3 end/post-end DLC. Citadel takes place mid-game.

I remember Chris suggesting that new information about the next ME could be a year or more away yet, but until there's a new forum created this is as good a place as any to discuss it.

Plus, some of the Montreal devs (and visitors like Mike Gamble) do tweet about shiny Mass Effect-related things now and then.

I can just imagine all the speculations over the next year from people posting real life events on Twitter and people trying to figure out if they're ME related.

Twitter: "My wife is having a baby!"
BSN:"OMG we get kids in the next ME!"

Twitter: "Fighting the Flu."
BSN: "Sweet! Maybe our LIs get sick and we can bring them soup!"

Twitter: "Having a good day today"
BSN: "OMG something good must be coming. ME4 info?!!"

It will be hilarious.

I know.

Not to put anyone down but I thought it was pretty funny when the one guy (blanking on who at the moment) tweeted about wedding plans and people in here went nuts with DLC speculations and Priestly had to come in and say it was realted to the guys real life.

One Final Ride...

EDIT: I have a strong feeling Gianna will be in this DLC. Remember when there was a tweet about her supposed to be in Omega? I think she recorded lines for Citadel ;) Which would mean perhaps Shiala will be in it :o

Yes, Citadel does seem like a good opportunity to cram in as many minor characters and fan-references from ME/ME2 as possible.

Not that that's a bad thing, at all.

If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say that it's more than possible that the new MP weapons (namely, the Geth Spitfire and Lancer Assault Rifles) will be the new SP weapons introduced in the Citadel DLC.

EDIT: And now I just read somewhere else that apparently they're not allowed to bundle MP weapons in SP DLC (some legal issue, supposedly), so.... yeah, that's a good question whether or not those weapons will make it into SP at all.

Chris Priestly ‏@BioEvilChris
I was especially glad when playing Citadel to reconnect with my favorite romances @courtenaytaylor & @AlixWiltonRegan Good times, good times

That's Jack and Samantha Traynor confirmed to appear. Looks like they're bringing back all the old crew.

Sam was already confirmed earlier by Patrick and Alix, but this is indeed the first official Jack confirmation

Has anyone on here bugged Bioware on Twitter about Thane and Jacob yet? Or about the almost-romance between Shepard and Samara in ME2 being continued? I'd be interested in seeing their responses to those.

Those questions delve into story spoilers, so we won't be commenting on them :)

LOL to "legal issue" ....the reality is so that they can sell them separately with a weapon pack.
