Chris Priestly @BioEvilChris
@[user] @[user] The Commander Shepard trilogy ends with Citadel DLC, so there really isn't a future for Shepard's story.
So is Jessica:
Jessica Merizan @JessicaMerizan
@[user] Other than War Assets, it doesn't add or change anything to the final moments in the game.
Jessica Merizan @JessicaMerizan
Citadel is NOT post-end DLC. The scars in this screenshot are from Lazarus Project. Hope that clears things up! http://blog.bioware....02/Citadel3.jpg

Holy crap! So wait... this includes War Assets in the DLC? As in actually seeing them? Or is it just another number?
Really REALLY hoping it's the former.

I'm sorry to tell you this, but I think she is just meaning that there is nothing ending related in Citadel, apart from the ability to gain more War Assets. I could be wrong, though.lostmercenary99 wrote...

This seems like the overwhelmingly likely interpretation, yeah.
I suppose there can be some interesting writing in the text descriptions? The entire WA system just frustrates me, in how much it reduces consequences to arbitrary numbers and is a poor substitute for tangible gameplay around Priority: Earth.

Since BW knows (some) fans are still upset with the ending and want closure, wouldn't more DLC that effects the endings be a selling point?? Therefore, it makes zero sense to not advertise "it effects the endings" if it really did. There's your answer.
It would make sense for Bioware to sell DLC that people will actually be obligated to buy, but Bioware seems to be firmly standing their ground.

At least they didn't leave it so that you had to buy all the DLC (or play multiplayer) in order to get enough assets to unlock the dying breath easter egg.Unschuld wrote...
I can't be the only one who thinks it's moronic to keep including additional war asset numerals in each DLC that do absolutely nothing but make a bigger number, since you have to actively try not to get the maximum number to unlock all the ending choices in the vanilla game.
I don't typically subscribe to conspiracy, but their words and actions over the past year seem to indicate that that was exactly what was originally planned.

That's a good point, but I don't exactly have high hopes for the future given the other evidence shown by the third game's decline. And even if that was the original "dastardly plan", the direction could have changed along with everything else stemming from the debacle due to their efforts at appeasement.
We'll see.

I wonder what the TM88 on the bottles stands for, Thessia Merlot 2088 perhaps?

Not gonna lie. Because there's an M88 on the bottles in the second image and M99 on the one gun in the third, I keep expecting an M77 in the first. But I'm just weird like that. :\\

I know it won't change ending but any news on whether the interactions with the LI (especially ME2 characters) will be changed during the goodbyes on Earth?
Hopefully deleted and reformatted into a much more believable context. but I think that's too much to hope for. You will keep your big giant ship hovering in front of the sociopathic more gigantic robotic cuttlefish (with lasers) for two minutes scene and you will like it.

Maybe when it comes to mass effect, there are some things they are willing to compromise on and some things where they feel they need to stand their ground.

I don´t think they´ve compromised anywhere, nor here nor on DA. It looks they take fan feedback only where they don´t care about it. Standing by Walters & Hudson (if they are indeed responsible) wasn´t the place to draw the line.
I feel sorry for the ME4 team. That´s a hell of a hot potato they´ve been handed. They´ll be more judged on ME3 ending debacle than on their own merits. Not to mention all the fans that have been pushed away by ME3. I just hope they weren´t told to make synthesis canon.

TM88 teaches Shepard the move Pluck. It's super effective against Cerberus and Repaer forces!

Well, look what Priestly said about the DLC:
''Citadel will take place anytime after the Citadel coup and before London on Earth (emphasis added)''
He could've meant Cronos, but War Asset Scenes can be added before Shepard lands on Earth.
Just speculating
