TM88 is the peruvian whiskey you can get for Kaidan.

EDIT: Spelling, damn clumsy phone-fingers.

Well, look what Priestly said about the DLC:

''Citadel will take place anytime after the Citadel coup and before London on Earth (emphasis added)''

He could've meant Cronos, but War Asset Scenes can be added before Shepard lands on Earth.

Just speculating

Great.

So the best I can hope for is a scene of my new abode getting torched and splattered with Cannibal glop while the rest of the citadel gets processed. That'll never come out of the carpet...

I know it won't change ending but any news on whether the interactions with the LI (especially ME2 characters) will be changed during the goodbyes on Earth?

Hopefully deleted and reformatted into a much more believable context. but I think that's too much to hope for. You will keep your big giant ship hovering in front of the sociopathic more gigantic robotic cuttlefish (with lasers) for two minutes scene and you will like it.

I don't think realism was the goal of that scene, just quietly.

There was feedback that the squadmembers appearing on the Normandy suddenly made no sense, and there was other feedbak that people wanted more time with the LIs. Without radically changing Priority Earth, I guess trying to stop the flood of critical feedback trumped being afraid of more criticism based on how silly that scene actually is. EC is very much a half-dozen bullet points targeted directly at some of the main criticisms the team would've collected and analysed post-launch.

Jessica said it was after the coup and before the Cerberus base, and Chris later said you can load the save-game created when you finish the ending that puts you back on the Normandy before Cronos. By all accounts nothing to do with the final level is changed, all the content happens mid-game.

I feel sorry for the ME4 team. That´s a hell of a hot potato they´ve been handed. They´ll be more judged on ME3 ending debacle than on their own merits. Not to mention all the fans that have been pushed away by ME3. I just hope they weren´t told to make synthesis canon.

The next game isn't necessarily a sequel (I'd think it's almost certainly not one), Shepard's story is over as of the Citadel DLC. Calling it "ME4", which suggests some continuity with ME-ME2-ME3, is not an accurate picture of what the project is, according to the Montreal developer.

That is also true. Not saying that I wouldn't appreciate them, but I think we are already getting a pretty big fan service DLC pack.

Any hint on SP patches? At least a fix for the Ashley marksman glitch that was created in patch 4? Will Bioware even continue supporting Single Player?

Doubtful. I'd say the last patch being so small more or less signals an end to maintenance (the patches cost a ton of money to release on consoles, so if they had other fixes planned, there doesn't seem to be much reason to put out a small patch first—you'd just wait until you had everything included). (There could still be content fixes in the final DLC, though.)

Did they ever fix the issue with upgrades not unlocking when you picked up the mods (like picking up the SMG ultralight materials on Mars not actually giving you the SMG ultralight materials mod)? It was never in any of the patch notes, but I haven't played the game since 1.0.3 (where the bug was introduced IIRC). That was the only issue I really wanted to get fixed.

Well, they have incorperated bug fixes into DLCs in the past. They fixed a bug with the Normandy Engineers' dialogue with the EC

Yeah, those are content fixes.

They can and do incorporate those into DLCs (they sometimes have to, simply because they'd take up too much space to put into a patch), and I'm hoping the team was able to sneak some more into this final DLC.

But I imagine the Marksman issue is a code bug (though I'm not familiar with it), which would require a patch (as would the issue with upgrades unlocking, assuming it never got fixed).

It's reported they have to pay out ~$50K (or more) to Microsoft for every patch (I don't know if they have to pay anything to Sony).

If they were planning on further fixes, I imagine they would have been included with the last patch. Since it was so small and they still paid the fee to get it certified and released, it seems to make more sense that it's the last.

Sony charges the same amount for a patch without a download limit. They could still do one more patch after the final DLC is out and feedback is gathered. The game still has many unresolved bugs that I can't believe BioWare missed.

The vast majority of people don't really come here, so their comprehension of the game is limited to outside sources like IGN... and they usually get **** wrong or like to blow up something really not worth the trouble.

they wont, because nobody works on me3. they were quiet about dlc, because in case some major issues were found by sony/ms, content would be just cut.

I don't get it CP, whats the potential delay, is it still in testing, or is it just down to the powers that be deciding whens the right time to release more news?.

Yep, still in certification testing. Until we know it will pass and when it'll be available, we aren't going to comment officially. Think of it this way, if we said "Its awesome will contain W,X,Y & Z and will be available on X day" but then had to cut W (for whatever reason) and had to move the date, imagine the hate we would get. It is much better to be sure before we start talking.

Peter Molyeneux always did such a good job of that at Lionhead. At least people didn't actually believe him. Another studio that took alot of flack for a sub par trilogy ending!

When Molyneoux lied at least he had a sort of clown attitude about him and everyone knew better than to believe him anyway. When BioWare lied they were dead serious and lied with the deliberate intent to fool us into buying and hyping the game through coplete lies and manipulation. I am A LOT more resentful for what BioWare did than I am about Molyneux's lies or even the ME3 ending itself. We'll see but from where I'm standing it looks just about guaranteed that this DLC will be the last ever BioWare product I spend a cent on.

First of Bioware didn't lie. They didn't need to lie to get you to buy the game, and the majoity of all hyoe cane from the fans. What lies do you think they told.

IF you go with the ABC thing then two points. A) until the ending furure, no one remebered that article, I'm pretty sure it had no influence on you buying th game and two the game isn't a traditional ABC ending like Deus Ex. There is variation within the endings, so instead of ABC there is AA AB AC BA BB C. So not a traditional ABC ending right?

Oh and if it's the sixteen endings thing, then that was a rumour spread by fans.

What lies are you actually reffering too?

The sixteen endings was from IGN messing up. But let's please not derail the thread, especially considering we're going to get more news on Monday. Let's try not to get this locked until them, hmm?

BioWare's lies are VERY well documented. There have been several lengthy threads listing most of the lies they said pre-release. This much is a fact.
