Mmmm....i don't quite see the difference between what we want and what we ask. If we want it, we ask for it no?

Fans asked for no more boss fights, mako's, or hammerheads.

There is validity in his statement.

Well I'm happy that 2 of those are gone. ;)

Not that I'm complaining at all because I loves Patrick Weekes, but why are the tweets going his way and not to Mac Walters? Are the rumors about them letting Mac go true? *puts on conspiracy hat*

Whedon has caused me more rage over the years than any of the ME writers ever has. I hope they never start taking writing advice from him.

Well the previous tweet was this:

twitter.com/PatrickWeekes/status/226135602754629633
"Hey Patrick, just spreading the word to ya that a good number of ME fans would like to see added DLC content for ME2 cast. :)"

"so would I! If there's enough fan interest, anything is possible. :)"

And Mac Walters hasn't used his twitter account to respond in a long time

And no the lead writer position was for Montreal studio

Raphael Sbarge was there doing VO work for Kaidan for ME3 (and EC DLC) but this doesn't necessarily mean she's there for ME3 DLC work...could be but nothing definitive ><

Lmao If I ever meet him in person, instead of asking him to say the famous "favorite store on the citadel" line, I'm just gonna make him say "STEEEVE!"

So which developer do people tweet about MP weapons, armor and powers appearing in SP? I'd like to know in case, since I have a few questions they could answer.

Mike Gamble is the producer for DLC. You'll want to ask him.

Likely he'll just tell you they're looking into it. I'd expect them to be looking for quite some time, given the way these things usually go.

Yeah I'm not expecting a great answer, nonetheless it doesn't hurt to make more noise about it now does it.

For starters, thank you for replying in this thread (dev comments regarding members of the Edmonton ME team have all but ceased at this point, so it is greatly appreciated).

Really? I see quite a bit of developer activity. Additionally, some of my tweets that end up getting posted here directly reply to what people in here talk about (because I myself and others read the forums daily). The reminder of there being a lot of designers both here and in Montreal working on things that just isn't ready to be shown was a reply to devSin voicing thoughts on separate teams for MP/SP. Also devSin, can't a guy do a bit of both? ;)

I'm surprised by this. Honestly, I'm on here pretty regular, and I rarely see devs coming in. Perhaps I'm on the wrong threads? Idk.

Frankly, I don't care. I'm happy to see devs take a moment..and take a deep breath..and jump on in the pit. Hash it out. Or, whatever. Pull up a chair. Speak your mind. Everybody else does. Why not you?

BSN isn't as....scary...as it can be made out to be. We grouse. We grouse like a bunch of arthritic old women in a weaving circle...but...we're okay ppl.

Those Twitter ppl scare me more...tbh.

I had no idea you guys checked out the forums daily. None. I really got the impression that we were kinda like the family members one would lock in the attic when company came over.

But okay. Oh, Hai..:wizard:

There are others that have helped with bugfixing and finaling on the design side, and of course there are artists, QA, sound engineers that all contribute immensely for each level. Level design is far from the most work intensive part of building a new MP level, but what level design there has been for Resurgence and Rebellion I've taken care of mostly, and Earth has had a dedicated designer per level. Kris Schoneberg made Vancouver, Keith Hayward made Rio, and I did London. (again, with the artists, QA, sound engineers all there as well)

You did London? I really like London. I feel more immersed in the environment there. Rather than the platform kinda thing.

And I'm not an MP person, but.....yeah, I like your MP. It's fun.

But don't get crazy with it! SP is still the meat and potatoes. And I'm a meat and potatoes person.

Just sayin'.

Oh, Hai:wizard:

Okay. well, I'm gonna tell ya what I Need. I need some escapism in my escapism.

Cuz, I mean, it's just that.....I can't even go to a Batman movie without taking my life in my hands. Babies being gunned down in Syria. Babies being gunned down just going to see a friggin' Batman movie. Babies being snatched off the streets by some twisted S.O.B.

Yeah... I need some escapism. Go figure. This world is breaking my heart. It's difficult for the good guy to make a difference, much less triumph.

So, yeah, I want to see the good guys triumph. I want to see them make it out alive. I want to see them make a difference. For better. I'm tired of sad endings. PC's dropping like flies.

You know, a good story is shelter and sustenance for the soul. A story that acknowledges that yes, there is loss. There are difficulties, but you can make it.

.......but whatever...just sayin'.

Well, to be fair the man does have a lot of work to do. And unless you post the kind of tweet that gets developers to wish they could just shut the social networks down, I'm sure Mike doesn't do it on purpose.

You are likely to be one in over 60.000 people or so that tweets with questions.

Some of those are likely to be lost.

Not everyone does, but I do. There's no reason for me to respond to every single thing posted, mostly because most of it has to do with things that fall outside of my own work. It's important to keep an eye on what people think of things I work on, because it may very well make whatever I do next better.

Glad you like London. I can't take credit for how it looks, that's all on the fantastic artists who worked on it. :)

Hey jos,

Do you know If you or any other multiplayer designers are gonna be working on any single player dlc levels?

Or whether they are planning to use any of the new multi levels in the single player dlc?
