It really shouldn't matter who this person's chosen LI was...it was just an crappy thing to do. I for one would never look down on an entire fanbase because of the actions of 1 jackass.
This.

One of the achievements mentioned a PRIZE, it's safe bet that he is.

Yeah, Shepard finds out that after their meet-up at the hospital, Jacob was later beaten to death by Brynn after she found out that he got another woman pregant during the time she was busy working on the Crucible....Most Definitely Sane wrote...

Well, we already suffered and were looked down upon, so nothing really new, it only gets worse now.
Well, the person who represents the thane krios romance twitter group said that she had taken care of the memebrs who sent the twitter.
So I gathered from the language that there were more than one of the senders involved. Hence the plural form of the singular form thanemancer, which is thanemancers.
Sorry if my diction and linguistic choice offended you.

I like Thane. He's an awesome character, but I don't want him to live. The way he died was a hero's death instead of wasting away in a bed. Allowing him to live or be magically cured is cheap and would ruin a great moment in Mass Effect. In this case, I hope Bioware didn't listen.

It's funny how the only valid and respected opinion is that Thane has to die and we should be happy, because his death was awesome. You may think that and BioWare will put you as example of a good, normal fan. They will smile at you and say, you're right.
If you think differently, you're a pathetic whiner, who should just dissapear. All the initatives for cure, except the one that started right after ME2, were ignored or handwaved. Thane fans were trolled, laughed at, and disrespected. By doing nothing and still encouraging the negative attitude towards the option for Thane to live, BioWare pretty much approved of such treatment of their fans.

They didn't. You may now celebrate, because your game would be ruined, if he could survive mine (not necessarily because of cure).

Really?
You come here, derail this thread, rant on then bash BioWare and take the moral high ground?
I love the dude. Thane is the biggest green bad-ass since the Hulk. Not only that, but he's a brilliantly written character with both spiritual and moral depth. Plus, his romance is awesome! It's Jaheira and Carth but better. I understand that you'd be upset, hell I was teary eyed during that last bit.
But to go as far as this? To cry out that BioWare have ignored you because you asked, no, demanded something that they didn't/couldn't do. It doesn't speak well for you or any Thanemancer out there.
I hope that they added a little bit of Thane content, even if he does die, I think you guys deserve a "I love you" or maybe even more than just one scene. However, remember that ME2 had a huge cast, and ME3 couldn't possibly account for all of them equally. Thane got a lot more than Miranda and Jacob. At least be happy with that.
Now let's wait 'till Tuesday and hope for the best when it comes to romances. All of them. Perhaps Jacob romancers will be able to kick him in the nuts... hell, it'd be worth replaying ME2 and romancing him just for that xD

This is exactly the attitude I was talking about. I was civil and didn't try to offend anyone.
And it wasn't me who started derailing this thread. Have fun throwing more rocks at Thanemancers. Damn sure we deserved the worst ;]
I'm out of here, so don't bother responding.

Not really. I'm going through their tweets now and it's mostly personal stuff. Yesterday they had a lot of tweets about Dragon Age III's sprint review day and how the new hair tech looks like something out of a Pantene commercial. Not very relevant for ME fans, except that ME4 runs on the same engine.simfamSP wrote...
