If there ever was a DLC to rival Lair of the Shadowbroker, this will be it.
don't let me don't josz
Hey, that's my personal opinion. I worked on both Lair of the Shadowbroker (Broker's ship's exterior) and Citadel ([redacted] area) and I personally like Citadel better. From a development standpoint there are more things I worked on in Citadel that I'm proud of than things in Shadowbroker.
Of course I hope that it ends up giving you a similar experience, but ultimately that's up to each of you. All I know is that everyone who worked on Citadel has put a ton of effort into it, because it's our goodbye as much as it is anyone else's. Tuesday will be the moment of truth, and hopefully you'll have a fantastic time with the DLC. I'm looking forward to all of your impressions.
I like that mystery that your team build around Citadel DLC, make me little nervous and very curious about content. I think that it's more exciting way to promote games than releasing 100 trailers telling about every single weapon in future game/DLC. You should use this mystery card more often with your projects.

I am pretty pumped about this DLC. Because of the fact that it seems like you put more effort into this one than previous (and NOT to say you were putting less effort into others).
And as a side note: Thanks Jos for always making an effort to pop in the thread with your thoughts or likes or just being here to be here. Thanks!

And yes, I'm really asking if we'll finally have a persistent way to set equipment (and actually try it out) and powers for the squad (outside of embarking on one of the finite number of missions in the campaign or repeatedly visiting the occasional weapons bench).

Not that anyone thinks so, but Jos has told me that this is going to be special before he put up that tweet (and he was good, that's all he would tell me). He's being totally sincere here. I'm trying not to ride the hype train myself, but I'd be lying if I didn't say I was excited to see the results of the Citadel DLC work they've put in.
Once more unto the breach then.
Aye, old friend.

I'm very excited to see what the fans think about "Citadel" coming out. I always tell people that we are developers, but we're also fans working here. One of the mandates I set forth for the team when we started working on "Citadel" was, "This should feel like wish fulfillment not just for fans, but for developers. What have I not explored that I've been missing?" Really, just throw it out there and see if it works. I think there are going to be a lot of things in "Citadel" that fans are going to truly enjoy and love and remember. Enjoy!
Ahh, wish fulfillment???
Well for me it would be a little additon post breath: either a quick! "We found him/her!" or a short aside to the hospital so I know for sure Im not stuck in the rubble forever....thanks!

Great, so I guess this confirms that everything that fans probably don't want in the first place is going to be in the DLC.

Lowest expectation: ME2 squad gets 2-3 lines here and there and never shows up again.
Realistic expectation: Something in between.

Joe Marchand @TheJoeMan2:
"topless asari and an M-7 Lancer."
Michael Gamble:
"you get one of those."
Since I quite honest doubt we'll see any topless Asari's, Gamble just confirmed that the M7-Lancer is in there! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-

I didn't know you worked on the exterior of the Shadow Broker ship. That was awesome, the atmosphere, vista and the legendary door-opening scene with Liara (Omni-gel
