"Can you confirm for this gaymer if there'll still be GLBTI inclusive stories and gender options for the main character?"
"There is no reason to believe otherwise at this point, don't worry! :-)"

"Hi Yanick! Folks over at GAF (myself included) were wondering if we'll be seeing better animations in the next ME than before?"
"It's one of the things we would like to improve, yes"

Fabrice Condominas @Faburisu
When you're asked "when can I actually play that?", you know you had an awesone sprint review. Huge congrats to the #masseffect team!

It means at least some work is being done, which is interesting, even if it's still in pre-production or the very early stages of development.

They also have three franchises/IPs in development simultaneously now, which means at some point you'd figure the marketing for two of them *has* to overlap somehow.

Ooooo, I'm happy to hear that!
I was just playing sum Saints Row 3 the other day, and they have sum great animations for walking and running. I play as a female and she has a great walk. Sexy. Confident. Without going overboard.
And the running animation in SR3 is fantastic. Very natural looking.
I found that moving Shep around in all the ME games was rather clunky.

And I will also have to start checking tweets for ME sprint reviews.

@shinobi602 Another from the fans on NeoGAF; will we see more open-worldness in this one? (DA, MGS, Witcher, etc are all going this route)
@YanickRRoy Now you're entering the zone where, like other devs, I'm not going to be able to provide an answer... :-)
Could mean nothing, but sometimes silence can speak for itself. I mean, rumours about NME having open world elements have been around for some time.

I wonder how the next Mass Effect would incorporate Open world gameplay mechanics. Hopefully, it would enable more ways to approach combat.

So, I can imagine NME would be more open world-y. Why they can't say if that's the case, or not...I don't understand. Or even to say we're looking into it.
I really, really hope that NME is open world-y. New and varied locations. A chance to experience diff cultures. A chance to wander abt these places.
In ME3 it was pretty much one pile of rubble after another. The Reapers were invading, so okay. But I've paid my dues. Saved the galaxy---I think, now I would like to have sum fun w/the game. I mean, still have a menacing threat somewhere, but maybe not apocalyptic levels?
I want locations. Variety and detail both visually and lore wise. Visually and gameplay, I would like...more. More than any of the previous ME games. I would like to land on living planets. Wander at least a bit. Instead of space stations all the time, I would like sum planets in there. Diff kinda citys I can explore...as much as possible.
Well see.

Agree with that. Reapers were destroying everything so that was pretty much expected, but now i also want to explore worlds without having to worry about some big galactic war.rapscallioness wrote...
Well, I imagine it will be more open world-y. Not necessarily open world like Skyrim, etc. DA is supposedly going this route. ME team is building on the engine...stuff that the DA team has put into it.

If anything we need more places like Despoina they showed in Leviathan DLC: a very exotic and very alien world.

@tibermoon In case you didn't know, @ebellefeuille is a friggin' UI *wizard*. o.O #MassEffect #AwesomenessIsHappening
I'm no expert, but IMO the need for a GUI indicates that there's already some key visual design effort underway.
Mr Bellefeuille also did some designs for the Omega DLC and to me they looked great: http://www.behance.n...DLC-GUI/6091921
