Has anyone actually licensed led zeppelin in a video game?
Possibly a sense of the feel of the game through a possible sound track.

I'm kind of shocked that they don't have a lead writer yet. I would have thought it would be the very first position that needed to be filled. Assuming they are going to have one at all.
It looks like people have been writing bits and pieces even now, but I guess the Lead Writer would tie the whole project together and manage things like deadlines and resources.
Maybe the actual writing hasn't started properly yet, and the writers are just brainstorming characters?

Eh, the series is still pretty radioactive, so no real surprises here.

With the way some fans have conducted themselves over the course of seventeen months, I'd probably look at it as pretty radioactive myself.

And I'm sure if he'd wanted to move to Montreal he would have done it already.

In other news, some work stuff came across my computer that was all story-telling glitter and ponies. It's going to be a great game.

It would be a nice change from most games which use orchestral-type tracks, I've always been a fan of actual songs in video games similar to Fallout 3 & New Vegas, but having more recent music is something I'd like aswell.
There's lots of games that actual make use of modern music, but none of them are games I can really take all that seriously, if Mass Effect had tracks akin to Led Zeppelin during battle I would be so hype.

Problem with modern music is that it doesn't stay modern very long.
Indeed.
Just look at most movies from the 70s-80s as examples.

Depends on the music your refering to i suppose, some music is timeless whilst others are a fad. The ones that are timeless are the ones that touch something in side you, it gives you that feeling, dunno how to put it into words but im sure you know what i mean.

@LieberGaming @jamalalsarraf Yes we're still looking for our next Lead Writer for Mass Effect. Mkalugin@bioware.com
So it looks like we were right about them not having a Lead Writer for Mass Effect Next.
Two words. Drew Karpyshyn.
ME1 felt so much more epic then 2 and 3.
Up until the very end, Karpyshyn was also the lead writer on ME2.
