In all serious maybe we will be getting a few hints as to what te plot of the new game will be come gamescom. I doubt we will be getting an official announcement until the VGAs at the latest, but I still hope we get something on it.

BioWare aren't even showing Dragon Age gameplay yet - that is the PR focus for now, and it's still 15 months away.
I don't think we're going to hear much more on Mass Effect for a while.

If John Dombrow really did leave, then we've lost a valuable dev there. leviathan/overlord were excellent DLC while Garrus was amazingly done. Javik as well.
hmmm...Currently playing me3 and I find myself more and more interested in the next mass effect game. didn't see that coming honestly. but I mean, I haven't reached the end in my current playthru xD.
I'm hoping that the next mass effect game, while it would have nothing to do with shepard, takes place after the events of mass effect 3. idk, the idea of a side-quell or a prequel isn't piquing my interest like the idea of a sequel-type game. set after the reapers, after shepard and the gang. some new threat to the galaxy, or even multiple galaxies. new protagonist making friends with new aliens.
As long as shepard is not involved, I believe New is the way to go. just saying. don't mean any thing bad.

Mike Gamble is a producer on Mass Effect. They're also doing an event at the studio at Edmonton, inviting ME/DA fans to the studio for something.
And I believe Mike did another one of these with ME fans at another convention a few weeks ago.
