Storytelling/art would be the most likely one to have any sort of reveal/announcement I think. Omega and MP are much more specific. Though honestly, go to the one you want personally the most so you have the best experience in limited time you got, don't mind us ;PLawrence0294 wrote...
Nothing would please me more than report to you guys what i'll see, however i'm afraid i can only go for one day so i have to chose between friday where there'll be a conference on the Multiplayer, Saturday which will talk about Omega and another one on how to get a job in Bioware Montreal and Sunday which will talk about Storytelling and video games as art.
Which one do you guys think i should participate to? I was thinking the one on storytelling but i dunno.

Yeah, definitely. A title (so we can stop calling it ME4 and NME haha)
I'd still gonna call it ME4 just because.

Lawrence0294 is going. I don't wanna get my hopes up but it would be great if we at least could get a title and "late 201x" rough date or something, like first DAI announcement.
Ya, just a little drop of info. Release window, title, and general setting should be plenty enough... for now

When it comes to movies, TV shows, video games, and anime (looking at you One Piece)... If they don't show the character dead, then the possibility of them still being alive is there. So the clone who seemingly fell to his death, could somehow be written into the story. Don't be surprised if this all ties in together somehow.
PS - inb4 David stumbles across this post and says, "That is stupid."

You know, I've seen this tossed around a little before, but I'm curious now. They are doing the Foundation comics and they are heavily having Brooks involved, and they said that it will tie the Citadel DLC in with the ME3 story line. This could possibly lead into the NME... So what if they introduced the clone story line for a reason?

I think the clone was never meant to be taken seriously. It was a jokey, campy plot twist which fit the zany fanservice-y tone of Citadel.
Besides, the next game is something else entirely. Relying on a joke character from a DLC to launch the story arc of a next-generation reimagining of the franchise would be... bizarre.

I'm just saying I wouldn't be surprise if this all fits in together somehow, not necessarily starring the Clone storyline, but it being used for a storyline purpose that Bioware will somehow craft into a new game.
@ElitePinecone - You may very well be right, it would be bizzare, but ME2's opening was a little bizzare and I liked it. I'm sure whatever Bioware does it will be great and I will be there in line to get it.

That would be disappointing, but I can't see many examples of where devs have hyped this weekend in particular. We've been told before that they won't be talking much about the next ME for ages, so getting intensely excited this early on might be a bit premature.
I'd love to be wrong and hope we do get something about the next ME very soon, but we have been told to expect a long wait.

I agree with IsaacShep. All would personally be interesting for me (even Omega, which I hated, just to see what their original intentions were for the DLC and how far they got when it was still part of the main game) but storytelling/video games as art is the most likely to offer up new stuff.
They could show early artwork or share vague ideas for what the next game's story might be like. Didn't they do a similar thing for DA3 where they talked in brief terms about where the franchise was going next but without referring to DA3 by name? Anyway, I doubt there'd be anything more than that, they'll save the big announcement for the VGAs, or more likely E3 next year.

It could've just been a total coincidence that a major Mass Effect review-day thing was scheduled right before Montreal Comic Con. I mean, all those tweets from devs heading to Montreal could've been solely to go to this thing (and not intended as a hint that they're showing it off on the weekend).

Hahaha don't worry, we won't hold you accountable for anything. Just enjoy and have a good time. I'm sure you'll have some interesting things to share even if they don't mention the new game.
