I'd agree...must be a typo...or pure hype....
2014 way way way too early.
2015 at the earliest.
Although I'd hope for their new IP (if it's still in development? in 2015) and push ME4 to 2016
The only way that early 2014 is possible is if:
1)We've been duped this whole time
2)'ME3-Part2' is what ME4 will actually be, with all the stuff they couldn't fit on ME3 and then some
3)Bioware can keep a secret.... lol...sure...
I see all of this as theoretically possible, but put me on record on betting against it if anything. 2015 is my prediction.

Ew, no. That would enrage a LOT of fans. I for one would hate them if they made Synthesis a thing.Lieber wrote...
I don't think it's a shot of Palaven's moon. That looked like a big city.
As for nullyfing endings, by that I mean they "could" just make that Synthesis is reached regardless of the ending chosen.
Destroy is the only option for making any of the endings "canon" (that's just one "n" there).
It's the only ending that gives a hint Shepard might have survived (by some incredible feat) and witch would make things like they used to be before Reapers arrived (with only the bigger cooperation between races of the post-Reaper War time).
Control would be just as easy. Just make it so that Shepard took the reapers to darkspace and never was seen in the galaxy again. Just say he's looking out to make sure there's no threat from another galaxy.
Then the only difference will be the ability to see geth or not. Then that just leaves synthesis and refuse. Refuse can be ignored similar to ME2's Shepard dies ending.
Well my headcanon is more like:
-Shepard WAS under indoctrination the entire time (of the series..), and we only had a very limited understanding of how it works (hint: Paragon is 'heavenly')
-The final choice is actually the creation of a new Reaper, at least a special kind of one, storing quite special information
-In Destroy, 'Shepard' is jolted back into his body
-In Control/Synth, something else happens to his body, but the Shepard we knew it no more
-New Reaper fights on our side, Earth is taken back, Reapers are defeated and survivors scatter, war technically continues but is drawn down as enemies plot
-Possible start of a more 'dark age' (theme: 'chaos') of the galaxy, as the relays themselves may very well be destroyed or inoperable
-We don't play as Shepard persay, and Shepard's 'events' aren't really part of the future because it was all...let's say as subjective as Varric's storytelling
Crazy? Bah whatever, I just wanted to explain how *I* could at least see the endings 'matter' without being as... far reaching as it initially seems
Imagination!!!!

Yeah. I'm still hopeful for something at the VGAs - especially since they've started teasing things with screenshots - but that same source hasn't contacted any of the larger news websites.
As long as BioWare doesn't come out and state that a reveal at the VGA's is hokum, we still might get to see a nice CGI trailer this year

I think this could be fairly accurate to the release of ME4. They said it would take a while longer to make ME4 due to the new engine and it would give DA:I several months to a year to reap the benefits.

I think I just came in my pants.
I'm expecting NME will release in 2015, but march might be a bit early. After July sounds more reasonable to me, what with the game being an entirely new story and a new engine being used and all.
Here's hoping the story does occur after ME3's ending. We can't rule out anything based on those screenshots. Please release a CGI trailer at the VGA's this year Bioware. Please...

Ok, right now I'm considering to stop bothering with this game, it's pretty clear for ME that BW has lost all respect for the classicsRachel73 wrote...

Not even one? C'mon! They were in the Two ****ing Towers! If PJ can use them, you can!
P.S Considering the awesome job they did for ME3, I'm not surprised.
Start on page 318 and you will find them
Found them! Thanks

As for the game, I'll judge it with no prejudice based on the last one (as I'm doing for DAI). I don't even care if it's a prequel or a sequel. If I'll like what I see in terms of story, characters, locations and gameplay, I'll buy it.
Anyway, good luck to all the people involved in the ME project.
