CES 2014 - Started today, runs until the 10th. Not sure if BioWare are there, but they've had a presence at every CES for the last few years. If I recall correctly, the first really early tech and gamplay systems for Mass Effect 2 were shown at CES behind closed doors. Entirely possible they're doing something similar with Mass Effect: _______. Whether or not we hear/see anything is another matter entirely.
Q1/Q2 Game Informer: EA/BioWare are real chummy with Game Informer, and the magazine is often used as a platform to announce/reveal projects. Q1/Q2 is the usual time of the year, especially at the dawn of a new generation, for publishers to start showcasing stuff, and is usually the best season for cover reveals. Their next cover is due to announce tomorrow, but is apparently Turtle Rock's news game. Still, a pre-E3 Game Informer reveal is not entirely out of the question.
PAX East: Like ElitePinecone said. BioWare is super chummy with the PAX crowd. I expect Dragon Age: Inquisition to be there in some form, one way or the other. Wouldn't be entirely unusual for Mass Effect to show up too, behind closed doors or otherwise.
E3 2014: Guaranteed, in my opinion, unless the project has hit some hurdles, or staff have been moved on to Inquisition to get that out the door faster. By E3 2014 the game will have been in development long enough. It's already up and running, and internal demos have been shown. If they're not teasing it by then...
...N7 Day 2014: Then I guess this would be a nice final hurrah.

That's cool, I didn't realise they did that with ME2.EatChildren wrote...

Though I suppose at the moment (and for the forseeable future) the focus will be on DA:I, regardless.

There's another way to interpret that Tweet, and EP hinted at it. The main character will be the captain, but he will have a second in command to talk and debate with like the Picard and Riker relationship. In my ME3 playthrough, I often saw Garrus as taking on that kind of role in an unofficial sort of way.
Possible, but only if Riker will be female, a LI and has big boobs that barely fit in a skintight latex suite.

I thought the ending was fine and the EC made it at least bearable for the majority of fans. You see, the Mass Effect series dealt with a lot of hardcore and (to a degree) esoteric subjects. To get full enjoyment, you have to do this moron thing I like to call thinking. And you're encouraged to educate yourself a little. In this respect, Mass Effect was a lot like Star Trek and I'll be infinitely pleased if the writers continue along that path.

Pop quiz! Who's your favorite crewmate from the #MassEffect trilogy, and why?
Mine is Miranda, because she's smart, strong, and independent. She knows who she is, and is willing to fight for what she believes in.

I pick him because beneath the gruff exterior, and the awesome kick butt warrior, is someone who truly has vision. He's someone that sees something so much more for his ppl.

That's a tough one, but if I have to pick just one, I'd pick Wrex.

Yeah I love how much growth Wrex shows throughout the trilogy. They did a really good job with his character.

This +1 million. I kind of feel like Wrex did in ME1. I've just about given up hope for my people and country. And They've really only got themselves to blame.
But yeah, he's awesome.
Legion and Garrus would be my top competitors for number one.

Liara, Tali, Mordin, Wrex and Legion are runners up. But all the characters are amazing!

Liara, Tali, and the surprise character was EDI. I know she gets overlooked because of the Pinocchio thing but if you overlook that the character was well done and Tricia Helfer did a great job. Of course she's typecast now as a synthetic (BSG & ME2 & 3)
She plays an AI in a Tron cartoon as well.

Joker was complex, with some fatal weaknesses that he survived and even thrived through force of will. Really respected that. He was also pretty funny at times, in a dry sort of way.
EDI was pretty awesome, to see the evolution of her character. Some very touching, unique moments with her. Probably some of my favorite conversations. Philosophical, revealing, relating to themes of the greater plot.
I was glad EDI got to walk around. At least she wasn't a skin job, so it was a different way of looking at being an AI in a humanoid body. This was appropriate for the character, mostly. Trying to give her new body "sex appeal" didn't really make sense to me.
Mordin was just awesome. He was a breath of fresh air. Until they made him stale in ME3, but that was thankfully short-lived.
I liked Garrus but the "just like old times" got really old.
Really liked all the characters, for one reason or another.

I imagine that they could really push the fidelity of character movements (and faces) with next-gen consoles.

Jay Watamaniuk@JayWatamaniuk: Back at work. Spent Monday catching on some very interesting developments. #Space!
I know an announcement is far away, but it can't come soon enough. I've tried playing other games, but none have the same feel as Mass Effect. The only thing keeping from going into a nervous breakdown over the lack of info is school work (who knew that could come in handy:huh:)
