Something as badass as this trailer for Lair of the Shadow Broker would be nice.

Ah nostalgia. Thank you for that Jeff.

I miss being in the middle of the story. That feeling of unease as you start out, the meetingg of new people and places. Ah...

I really hope Leviathan is at least as good as LotSB.

I miss that music too.

Makes me wonder why they didn't implement it for Liara - since they love her so much. Imagine that score starting to play when she gets p'oed at Javik. She might seem more intimidating and y'know...SHADOW BROKER-like. ;)

You can see above Mike is clearly getting sick of people asking him questions re: synthesis, how starkid didn't let sovereign in and all those obvious questions.

What baffles me is he hasn't even hinted that they will ever be answered.

It's not really his area or responsibility - he's not a writer, didn't write the story, didn't have responsibility to check the story, wasn't involved with the overarching series plotline, or the attempted explanation of it in EC, and it looks like he's been getting snarky tweets from people for months.

I'd be pretty annoyed, too.

Given some comments from Bioware devs that the EC represents the definitive ending and they won't be releasing any more ending content, I don't think it's wise - or productive - to keep asking the same few questions. We'll probably never get an answer, and that's really unfortunate (even frustrating) - but how is nagging a producer who didn't even write the story going to help? Is Mike supposed to wheedle the answers - assuming they even exist, and that anyone at Bioware actually thought about them - out of some writer and release them to be picked apart on game forums more than five months after the product's release?

Yeah and the last time he ws asked a question, and he answerd based on his own opinion, fans through a hissy fit.
He was asked whether in the Refusal ending the next cycle used the Crucible, he said he thought it was likely they did, but it was opinion. Some fans have taken it as word of god, and lo and behold there is a thread about it on Story and Discussion. For him it's like lose-lose, must be awful

I wasn't able to make sense of his reply but now, with your post, it seems almost as if he was fed up with people pocking holes in their plot and he was defending it, although there are clearly non-trivially many plotholes.

Or that's how I interpret his answer.

It's the context that is key. Mike was congratulating the NASA team and whomever sent him that message completely turned Mike's well-wishing against him.

To be fair, if casey, mac and other writers were around to answer these questions he wouldn't be getting so many tweets would he?

Here's hoping that Curiosity doesn't find those damn Prothean archives... They're nothing but trouble.

So... the Crucible is nothing but trouble? Interesting tidbit of information there. Add to it the fact that a part of Saren's theme plays in the archives.... hmmmm.....

The fact that a complementary joke was turned into an ending jab is pretty low to me. Also the refusal thing is why it's better to not be a fan like that, they look for dissapointment in my opinion.

They said the endings were open ended, the scenarios play out however you want it to. If you want destroy to some day have the geth and edi brought back you can, if you want control to fail it can, if you want synthesis to be a reaper victory than it will be, and if you want refusal to be a conventional victory than there is enough evidence to support that claim. Anyone interpreting it as a very negative thing is either misunderstanding the whole you decide nature of the thing or is chooseing to see it negativly, which is an alright interpretation.

Sorry, ending rants get to everyone it seems.

Does anyone know if we'll get more details on the dlc before it's released like we did for the EC?

The other writers are still around on Twitter. Have you tried asking Patrick Weekes or Sylvf your questions?

Casey and Mac don't show their faces anymore because they have been so demonised in the past few months that anything they say is likely going to be met with utter contempt and overanalyzed with a negative bias. Regardless, I've derailed enough.

In all honesty, I'm hoping things turn out like the EC in that they announce the release date out of the blue. I really don't want to spoil things by watching trailers, but I have absolutely no willpower. :pinched:

Was it solely Chris Velasco or the Chris and Sascha duo?

They wrote some great ambient-style tracks for ME3, ME2 DLC (Kasumi DLC I believe), Borderlands, and a whole lot more.

Both Chris and Sascha (Sonicmayhem is Sascha).

Cris and Dikiciyan made the biggest and mos epic tracks of ME3, incluiding the Reaper Chase, and probably the track used against the Reaper on Rannoch.

They did make some awesome tracks.
Though I personally prefer Christopher Lennertz or Sam Hulick when it comes to combat music. I am interested to see what Cris and Sascha do, however.

This track? I really wish it was included on the soundtrack.

Chris and Sascha did the Arrival soundtrack, which had some fantastic combat music.

It was fantastic, yes. Don't get me wrong I do love their music that they added to the series.
I just prefer Chris and also Sam when it comes to combat. The LotSB and Overlord combat music was amazing.
Sam's Mars soundtrack was also very nice.

Edit:
...That and a lot of my favorite songs in ME3 comes from Chris and Sam. Though I must admit, my favorite character editor music was from Cris and Sascha.
