So we got a hint on the new IP's setting before one on MEN's?
...
I swear that wasn't intentional.

Well, we have known the setting for Mass Effect: Next since BioWare announced there was going to be a followup to the trilogy. #Space!

I hope ME:Next has the depth of story telling Planescape: Torment had. I've also been reminded of a time where you bought a game, it was yours and you didn't have to worry about DRMs and technically not owning the game you bought if the servers shut down.

Yeah, it would just be to much to let us actually enjoy playing the game whenever we want like in the middle of the night or five years from now.

They said next week should be fun - that doesn't mean it'll have any news at all.
(Bioware might be hiring a jumping castle or something
)

Yeah, as I said in the DA twitter thread that's where my brain went.
If BioWare ever tackled a Dune universe story that would be incredible.
It would be so glorious to have a Dune game made. By either Bioware or CD Projekt or Obsidian or whoever...as long as they do a fantastic job. I love the Dune universe. Would be great to have an RPG situated in it!!!

The "fun" for this week will assuredly be some April Fools shenanigans.

Yeah. The more I mulled over things lately the more certain I became of this conclusion.

Would it make it better or worse if I said my mentioned fun is not April-Fools-shenanigans related?

They announce the name of the new game on April Fool's, everyone thinks it's a joke...
...it's not a joke.
