That'd be one premium-priced batch of first drafts and concept arts.
Haha, pre-order the game now and get an extra tweet containing the word #Space! from Jay for free! I also wouldn't be surprised if his first draft only says 'Space!'x1000

Okay, so this means any news released tomorrow isn't true? I'm confused o.O

1)Don't believe April 1.
2)Believe April 2-4.

mmm I prefer to go with the "I DONT BELIEVE YOU" rather than the "I might believe that" and the get my dreams crushed
As Chris would say:

Using iPad today. I can type words, save them and then view those exact same words at a later time without a help ticket. #mindblown #Space!

It depends what it is. Anything that sounds plausible is likely true, the joke is them seeing how many people doubt it. They would not want to disappoint people by revealing something awesome and then later having to admit it wasn't true. However anything obviously a joke is simply a joke. I guess there would be a grey line somewhere, like if they said indoctrination theory was the basis for me4 it would be hard to judge, but I suspect they will steer clear of the grey line. And of course there may be nothing about me4 at all.
Hehe. Manveer is just noting the craziness of April Fools and the (awesome) fake game announcements that hit the web, and the sadly gullible few who'll take them as fact. To be fair, some devs go the whole hog for their April Fools. Blizzard's stuff is always a good laugh.
But I digress: I think expecting any announcements this week is jumping the gun at the bit. Twitter teasing has implied something over at BioWare is happening this week, but that "something" wont necessarily be made public.
Would be nice though! At the very least I hope we hear something from PAX, if just some more cheeky concept art leakage.

I was checking out the schedule for PAX, but it just seems to be some cosplay events and some autograph signings with some of the ME3 cast. Nothing major

Hey! Is there any data available on what percentage of players picked which endings for ME3?
Patrick Weekes @PatrickWeekes
I thought the BioWare Blog did an infographic awhile back. If you find nothing there, try asking @CaseyDHudson!
Ugh.

Part of me wants this can popped wide open. The other part of me doesn't want to see WW3 on these brand new forums ![]()
Still, considering how they overlooked this info in the past, and seeing how things have calmed down, I'd be willing to risk giving out these details, mostly for the fans who genuinely want to know.

I'm morbidly curious myself - if it pops up I'll be sure to post it. The older infographic apparently didn't have the ending information.
I have... big, huge reason to want to know. And I... think I still don't want to know.
I'd like to know the proportions that picked each ending. I know BSN conducted surveys and all, but like it or not we were a hardcore bunch on one single site. Only Bioware has the true numbers. Also interesting would be how many playthroughs the average player did after the ending (to see if people were replaying it at the same rate as previous games).
That's basically all I'm curious about. Anything extra is a bonus
For those interested, here's the old ME3 inforgraphic...

Ideally to me, it would be:
20% Synthesis
30% Control
50% Destroy
Roughly. Also interested in the various versions (EMS/Morality). Might seem weighted towards Destroy (and well, it is), but I'd like to see how spread out ALL the ending forms are. I have a feeling it'd be more flat at that point.
EDIT: Something like..
20% Synthesis
10% High Paragon Control
10% High Renegade Control
5% Low Paragon Control
5% Low Renegade Control
20% Breath Destroy
20% High Destroy
5% Low Destroy
5% Vaporize Destroy
40% 'Top' endings
40% High endings
20% Low endings
SUPER roughly speaking.
I think Refuse would get almost nothing. Like 5% at the very highest.
EDIT2: While I think Destroy is overwhelmingly popular overall, I have a feeling (based on conversations IRL) that at least Control is more popular than it is on BSN. I think super invested fans (aka those more likely to be most invested in Shepard) aim for Destroy, but after that, it becomes more complicated statistically. But this is all a feeling and not anything like a survey!
Only reason I would have to want to know the ending ratio -- but this is kind of a big deal -- is that I'm curious if the number of players who picked what I usually run with really are a minority and if so to what extent. If it's small enough and the next game tries to set itself forward in such a fashion as to majorly recognize 3'a endgame will I wind up having to deal with something else being selected?
But then again, that's a possibility no matter what. For all we know it'd be canonically post-Refuse somehow; nevermind the D/C/S debate.
So really... I don't want to know.
From what they've been saying, it doesn't sound as though they're going with a single, canon ending...
From NowGamer: http://www.nowgamer....or_prequel.html
“Story-wise, the arc of the first trilogy has also been concluded, and what we will do is tell a new story set in the Mass Effect universe,” explained Roy.
“That doesn’t mean that events of the first three games and the choices you made won’t get recognized, but they likely won’t be what this new story will focus on. In other words, because the game takes place before or after the first trilogy does not mean it necessarily is a straight prequel or sequel.”
“What I’m trying to say is that the ME universe is so rich that we are not limited to a single track when coming up with a new story," conculded Roy.
"I hope this helps clarify why we’re not thinking of the next ME game as ME4 internally!”
I still suspect the game will be designed in such a way so that it won't matter what you did in the ME trilogy - eg. Pre-ME3 ark sent to another galaxy.
"because the game takes place before or after the first trilogy does not mean it necessarily is a straight prequel or sequel."
Stuff like this makes me more confident in my theories.
Dammit. lol *waves to Bioware*
Only 8% didn't cure the genophage. Canonise that Bioware!!!! Think of the amount of development resources saved and add in the fact that the threat of a second Krogan horde makes for an interesting story even if it isn't the main focus.
I would personally like to know what ending was picked most but I can understand their reluctance.

That's a dangerous precedent to set, though.
And canonising something just because a small number of people did the alternative is a pretty poor way to handle the universe. Casey said there is no canon, and while this hasn't always worked brilliantly (hi rachni), it's something they should still aim towards.
They've already spoken of continuing the story (even if in a less-central way) based on much less picked choices, just to have that variety.
IMO chances are more like we always see Krogan, but their state, psychology, culture, numbers may depend on the cure. At least along those lines, and at least for one more game.
What is canon when there are so many stories to be told in so many potential universes, just as it happened with the trilogy? We'll see what they do, but whatever it is your Shepard trilogy will always be yours.
Super Duper BioWare Dev @buttsauce420
Cupcake ending is canon. #space #spacebutts
