For some reason I never heard about the Mako-esque vehicles until I read that article. Mark my words, if there is a Mako (in whatever fashion) in "Mass Effect: Placeholder", then when I see it it will be the most emotionally wonderful moment for me in all of Mass Effect history.

For some reason I never heard about the Mako-esque vehicles until I read that article. Mark my words, if there is a Mako (in whatever fashion) in "Mass Effect: Placeholder", then when I see it it will be the most emotionally wonderful moment for me in all of Mass Effect history.

 

There was some very, very heavy hinting going on last N7 Day when they used a mural of the Mako as a backdop for "looking at the past for inspiration". 

 

A bunch of rumours have also pointed to the main theme of the game being exploration and discovery, with lots of open environments and maybe a bunch of different land vehicles to explore planets, including the Mako.

 

(One of the biggest advantages of Frostbite is that apparently its level streaming systems enable enormous environments - and if DA:I needs a horse as a mount, we'll surely get a Mako for MEN.)

Because I think of myself as a beginner. It keeps me listening, learning, and humble. It's how I plan to get better at writing.

For those that don't know Jay used to be the community manager (or co-community manager) at BioWare Edmonton, much more into the marketing side.  It must have been a wish of his to write and he got his chance which is nice to see.  There is another Watamaniuk at BioWare (Preston) who has been around since the very beginning I think.  I would assume he is a relation.

I think they're brothers (?). Preston is on Casey's new IP team, I think. The staff at Edmonton seem to be all over the place, since the studio is basically running three projects at the same time...

Actually the only image that came to my mind was Shepard going down to the lower decks and seeing Garrus, Wrex, and Kaiden hiding out in the Mako with a "He-Man Woman Haters Club" sign on the door.
