It'll be interesting seeing what the new ship will look like.

Early concept.

I love @BioWare company meetings. So many incredible things to see--and a chance to showcase our work to everyone. ^_^

The cool thing about working at @BioWare is that you don't stop being a fan--and it means you get to see Awesome Things a little earlier. :)

I'm very interested in what types of rooms will be aboard it... hoping for a large, bar-like lounge area.

I'm hoping for more of a millennium falcon type ship interior. Also thanks Jos I just had a toothache and now I'm being unintentionally mocked. :)

Seeing something like that in a Bioware game might remind me of the Ebon Hawk.

Which isn't a bad thing. Good times were had aboard that ship.

It's so funny, but the first time I played Knights of the Old Republic, I got hopelessly lost aboard the Ebon Hawk. :) I kept missing the cargo ramp that led outside and ran around in circles, until I figured out the interior. Between replays of that and KOTOR 2, I could probably run around it blindfolded now. Good times indeed.

Yes, I had the same issue! Or I'd overshoot the cargo ramp and end up in Mission's little compartment for the 897th time.

(Even in ME1, the doors to get from the command deck down to the crew quarters were really hard to spot at first...)

Return to work after week of stressing/worry was actually kinda magic. The whole writing team is together in MTL & they are fabulous people.

Keeping with the whole tooth analogy, could we get a mini comic involve a turian dentist? Something I think that needs to change about turians in the next mass effect is what type of teeth set, if it's called that, they have. The games have turian teeth as these long sharp things that don't completely line the mouth while the comics have shorter, but still as sharp, teeth that line the mouth completely. If were to ask my opinion I would go for the comic version because it helps me get the thought out of my mind what eating a turian dinner table looks like with food falling out the sides of their mouths.

I, too, played the "where the heck am I supposed to go" game on the Ebon Hawk. My crew often mocked me for it, placing bets on how many times I'd pass each one as I ran from room to room.

If this article is to be believed, here are the lineups for Sony and Microsoft at E3. No Mass Effect:

http://fansided.com/...-leaked/#!M06MB

So *if* we were to see anything (and if this list is accurate, which it may not be), it would have to be at EA's conference. Fingers crossed!

Hey Jay by any chance are you writing the new mass effect story? I hadn't heard you weren't just wanted to make sure you was!

Jay Watamaniuk @JayWatamaniuk

I'm one of a group of writers working on something magical for the Mass Effect franchise, yes.

User

Jay, Jay, Jay when oh when will we start getting teased like we are getting for DAI?

Jay Watamaniuk @JayWatamaniuk

An excellent, excellent question.

User

Oh Jay, you're teasing us about getting teased. That's just cruel!

Jay Watamaniuk @JayWatamaniuk

I write for Bioware; cruelty is my business.

Instead of "Dragon Effect" I prefer to call it "Massage"

Same thing for me.  I wandered around the ship for a long time looking for the dang exit.

Oh my god, I hope that's real. If X is Xenogears: Origins, my favorite game ever is getting a related installment.

Kotaku has a piece suggesting that list probably wasn't real

(A big red flag is why would Watch_Doges be up on stage two weeks after it launched? Many mystery, so repetition.)

I thought it would be obvious it's going to be at EA's panel... neither Microsoft or Sony have anything to do with the creation or publication of Mass Effect and it's not an exclusive for any platform.

Ah, the Ebon Hawk. My first ever home base in a video game. I still remember the quiet hum of the engines and the background music. Beautiful ship.

I would actually prefer something more compact and cozy like the Ebon Hawk for Mass Effect Next. Normandy was great, but doing rounds around the ship took time and made it feel less homey. Would actually prefer more activities to do on the ship (like turret simulation and Pazaak). Ah, now I want to play another playthrough of KOTOR! Might do dark side this time

Well, they did show off ME3 at Microsoft's E3 last year because of it's Kinect features, even though it was also shown at EA's conference. Though now that Kinect will no longer be bundled with Xbox One, it might have changed plans for console specific features if the user base is smaller
