Look up "AndrewRyanArt" on Deviant Art (I would post the link but don't know if that's allowed on these forums). It's from a series of art where he puts ME characters into DA armour. Very nice looking stuff!
Ahh..too bad. That would be nice on Dragon Age...

EA World Premiere at E3 coming live to Spike TV on June 9, 1 hour press conference with six new game reveals as part of our E3 All Access.
So, ANY chance of MEnext being one of those? Or will it be 6 sports games?
I know this is a 2 week old tweet, but has it been brought up yet?

There's always a chance, but we've heard nothing official...

Yeah, they mentioned the six new games in the early May financial statement thing. I really, really doubt they'll all be sports games. EA has a lot of new IP in the works, since it's a new console generation.
One of them is the new Frostbite shooter/Battlefield project coming out later this year (not Battlefield 5, though).
There's also a fair chance we'll get a look at Visceral's Star Wars project, which is rumoured to be an open-world game.
But really, nobody knows. I think ME is quite likely, given some rumours about a reveal at E3.

Ahhh, KOTOR 2. I love the first level: I had so much fun running around Peragus figuring out the mystery of what happened there. And having Atton Rand around to snark didn't hurt.
Wow, I love KOTOR2 but the intro is what I consider one of the biggest flaws of the game. It is cool that you like it though, I always thought it was too tedious and uneventful to draw players in and capture their attention. I have a number of friends who have given up on KOTOR2 because they couldn't bring themselves to finish the intro area. In comparison to KOTOR1 which the Endar Spire does a phenomenal job of being brief and interesting enough to grab the player's attention.
Anyway, not to be critical of your personal opinion, it is just the first time I've ever heard someone praise the intro of KOTOR2 and my mind is kinda boggled. ![]()

I actually rather enjoyed the intro too, even on multiple playthroughs. The only thing that kinda gets annoying to me is playing as T3-M4. For the rest I liked the slower-paced beginning and mystery. Can totally see why others wouldn't though, but it suited me. Also liked the music on Peragus a lot. Gem of a game really, I've yet to complete a playthrough with the restored content but looking forward to that one day.

Mystery is where it's at, it captures the imagination.
There's an investigative effort involved.
What you seem to be describing here, no offense, is the type of player whose attention can not be captured via anything other than violence.

Personally, I love levels that are "deserted creepy environment with weird goings-on, figure out what happened here"; places like Charwood Village in Neverwinter Nights, the MSV Worthington, the monastery on Lesuss, etc. I thought Peragus did a good job of crafting the mystery, then ratcheting up the stakes: finding out who's alive and why everyone else is dead, the truth about what the miners planned to do with you, then the arrival and exploration of the Harbinger (sheesh, talk about spooky--the Harbinger is a creepshow).
For me, the slow burn of Peragus added tension and gave me time to get to know the characters, not to mention figure out the situation galactically after the end of KOTOR. There was a sense of dread about everything that I found very compelling, and that carried me through a lot of the first act of KOTOR 2.
An opening like that wouldn't work for every story. But for KOTOR 2, which is about figuring out your place in the galaxy again, realising not everything is as you imagined--even the Force itself--and discovering that people are rarely who they appear to be? Worked for me, anyway. ![]()

It's gonna be new FIFA, NHL, NBA, Madden, Battlefield and Need For Speed. #buzzkillington

NHL was already announced last year and there won't be a NfS this year.

Do it!
KOTOR2 is one of my favorite games (sorry....I know it's not 'really' a bioware game) even with all the bugs....mainly due to the character of Kreia.
She is hands down the best game character ever (next to Garrus that is).

I still don't completely understand what she was on about. Free will something or other.
BioWare has taken a great deal of criticism for recently making promises they failed to fulfill and ultimately making games that dissappointed a lot of their fans.
They honestly do seem to have recognized how much they upset many players and have taken steps to do better with their PR and Inquisition, but ultimately, the game isn't released yet. They've still ultimately yet to prove anything.
I'm doubtful ME:Next will be introduced at E3 for the simple reason that it would make the months leading up to Inquisition hell, and cost them valuable goodwill. No matter how good the announcement is, it's at the very least going to bring a fresh wave of frustration and dissappointment at BioWare for putting the endings at the forefront of people's minds once again. Instead of being excited for Inquisition, many players would likely once again be thinking "How could you have screwed this up so badly?" at about the most inconvienant time possible.
Probably smarter to release Inquisition, hopefully impress players, and let them assume the best case scenario about ME:Next and keep the endings off their minds until they can devote their attention to the issue.
Might be good to point out that the only people who will be struck by this apparent wave of grief will be the extraordinarily tiny proportion of players who are still annoyed about a videogame more than three years after it launched.
This is probably not "many players".
(And the idea that being grumpy about one game affects interest in another series strikes me as weird. People can and do separate their feelings, and I've seen excitement for Inquisition from people who were deeply disappointed with ME3.)
I think there would be many, many more people excited to hear about the next ME than those who are so agitated about the endings of ME3 that it puts them in a negative mood. There will be some spillover publicity for DA but I doubt this even really comes into it. They just shouldn't want people to forget about the franchise. If they are ready to talk about it at all I think they should do so. Even if it is as little as giving us a basic concept of what the background is and when it takes place.
I don't think showing a teaser for ME:Placeholder would create ill-will toward Bioware or somehow snowball into Inquisition hatred. An E3 response would be favorable, even if it were just a screen with the next Mass Effect's name on it and with a redone version of the theme song. It's far more likely a teaser would bring back those same feelings the original ME1 teaser did because people like seeing things they love brought back.
That being said, if they don't show a teaser the reasons would likely be because they didn't want to overshadow DA:I or because they want to save their big "reveal" for N7 day. I think we're going to get something interesting on N7 day regardless, but E3 would (in my opinion) be a great platform to show something vague (like the ME2 teaser that showed Shepard's armour). Just something to sort of say, "Hey, guess what, Bioware is working on a new game that we'll tell you more about after Inquisition launches."
