All that is missing is a tux and it would be perfect. ![]()
User: Any chance of a very small piece of new Mass Effect news? Anything would be great.
Yanick Roy @YanickRRoy: I'm hoping we'll be able to reveal a tiny bit more soon, but we're not ready just yet
Michael Gamble @GambleMike: Off to Montreal tomorrow to check out the game and high-five everyone on the team.
One of the new games EA will be announcing at E3 is Battlefield: Hardline.
That leaves five more spots for ME: Dentist.
FYI: If you use the word gamification incorrectly in a meeting room full of gameplay designers, you are going to get a lot of dirty looks yo
(wait... isn't that how the Hulk was created?)
@manveerheir every time he uses it, we do our very best to make fun of him.
There are multiple offenders. And it is spreading. IT IS AN INFECTION
planification of the gamification.
Angrification of manveer
We should gamify the angrification of Manveer by planifying it. Think of the t-shirt sales...
I need to find a way to work 'noutriment' into this sentence
I hope you guys are prepared to hire a new gameplay designer because my head is about to ASPLODE
My first thought is that it looks like the iconic red stripe on N7 armour. Then again, this is in the Mass Effect forum, so my mind is predisposed to making connections to Mass Effect. I certainly don't kid myself that Shepard is coming back, but I wouldn't mind if Hale returned to do some other character voice(s)
interesting!

Bugger, that makes it sound like they don't have anything for us at E3
hopefully that's not the case.

E3 is still two weeks away. Jennifer Hale could do VO for a trailer.
oh my goodness. oh my goodness.....
regardless, thank you Ms. Hale for the most interesting tweet to date. Cuz I gotta say, on the whole, the tweets coming from the ME team are just kinda making me feel like:

Looks like the Square Enix logo.

Can't be, can it? The red stripe goes further than the black ones in the twitter pic. In the logo, they cut off at roughly the same point.
Jennifer Hale posted this an hour later... She's in LA.
and a Paramount afternoon.
ah. ofc. i wasn't expecting to feel so hopeful. i mean, i'm fine w/a new PC and all. i really am. it just kinda took me off guard there. i guess.
but eff it tho. right?
so, they got a lead writer yet? seeing as how that other one is now the narrative director. do we get to know who's at the reins w/story? has this been mentioned yet? i haven't been on these forums really for awhile. it's kinda important to me to know this. what's their resume; what kinda of actual writing experience they've had; have they ever worked on a AAA game?; if so, which one/s?

No lead writer has been announced yet. They were advertising for one last year, so I assume the position has been filled. Probably not internally, since it sounds like most of the ME3 team either went to Dragon Age or stayed with Casey on his new IP project. We know a few of the Montreal writers but I don't think they've revealed the lead yet.
As for the story, I'm not 100% sure how it works, but at Bioware I think it's a coordinated effort from the Lead Designer and the Lead Writer. Obviously the higher-up people like the Executive Producer (Casey again? I think) and the studio head (Yanick) will have input. The Lead Designer was a new hire, Ian Frazier.
P.S. Just curious - why do you write like that?
To be honest I am most curuious about the new IP more that DAI or ME_Contact. I wish we would get some kind of hint at what it was.

Ooooh.
What is it? What is it?
and ot - Megamind....one of my favorite movies....the nuances of some of the animation was really well done....plus I have a soft spot for that big headed blue guy.
We've been receiving truly excellent fan art/letters for the office wall. I can't wait until it's ready to show off!

I agree that their tweets are rather dull, but cut them some slack. It's not like they have much to talk about.
We share what we can, but the nature of development is that a lot of things change constantly until they don't anymore, and it would not be very prudent or cool to talk about things that may not even exist by the time we're done.
Honestly, the only "issue" I have with the BioWare tweets is that they tease us massively and don't reveal anything. That's the only thing they can do though, since the game hasn't even been formally announced yet. I'm just happy that there's any interaction at all; I'd rather be teased and reminded of the devs' enthusiasm than be given a stone wall of silence to wait with.

I'll try and tease you less with the things I do at work. Omitting details is the name of the game though, for now.

Don't worry guys. I'm sure we are through the worst of the info drought, right? (As in, we are closer to getting info than closer to saying ''let's get comfortable for a while'')

No. No! Nooooo! I secretly love the tease! Don't go... Shoot. Sorry everyone.
My joking aside, the teasing only bothered me up until a few weeks ago; for me it seemed like you guys knew we wanted info, knew you couldn't say anything so just had fun with us. It took me realising that I'd rather have open, fun dialogue with the devs than have an info black out to realise that you guys are actually pretty cool compared to other devs. Now I don't really mind it because I'm happy you guys are having fun making the game, and expressing that through Twitter. If that makes any sense.
@Chris2365: I'd say we're closer to info than far, yes, but I'd still suggest you get a nice chair if E3 shows nothing.
