No, it basically just means it could change in every way, shape or form before release.

Am hoping the images shown of the masked soldier in N7 armor are just concept images, cause honestly I don't know how I'd feel if this main character turned out to be another N7 Alliance soldier (that was kind of Shepard's thing, I feel).

At the time I figured the next protagonist would be playing someone who saw Shepard's legacy as an inspiration.

 

Not N7 as a literal Alliance soldier, but "N7" as a symbol.

 

Possibly in the far future.

'17 is pushing it, I'd say. I doubt the company would be kosher with that. Just about any point in 2016 is likely though.

Something like this should be left up for player customization. For me, I wouldn't have my new player character paint N7 symbols on himself unless he's actually in N7 program

I didn't really expect much from this E3, so I guess I'm not disappointed. The thing I liked the most was the use of the phrase "move forward" around the :35 second mark. I am hoping this game takes place after the events of ME3. 

 

As for the new IP, I am not really sure. It was just an idea of a living world, which is okay, but I need to see a lot more before I can form any opinion.

 

I feel like, given how little time transpires between humanity entering global events and the beginning of the original trilogy, I've probably already seen enough early footage of ME4 to make me feel fairly secure this is a sequel. Even beyond that phrasing.

That's like saying Shepard should get the choice to be a Spectre in ME1.

 

If the story demands it, it has to happen. You don't get to decide that.
