I hope that 'new places' doesn't mean we won't be spending time in Citadel space...
Also, I don't think that looks like a krogan (it doesn't look like a yagh either), the hump seems small and it seems like it has a horn... or is it a redesign?

It doesn't necessarily. All it means is 'pick a spot, there's something there'.
Basically a return to ME1 (exploration) and ME2 (unique events) elements, with a next gen upgrade (dynamic, large).
It might mean we're done with Citadel space. Maybe. But what I mean is that you shouldn't rule it out yet.
Don't drop it just yet.
I shall not drop it just yet. ![]()
Even if the game is like 500 years after ME3 the damage that the Reapers did was so big that it isn't far fetched to think some worlds are still in rebuilding or abandoned.

I imagine that we'll go to some hub worlds in citadel space, but the majority of the game might take place in uncharted space.

Or there's been new small wars/conflicts since then.
who knows what that crucible did to folks dna. ppl may have been altered somewhat. i mean, it's not like we ever knew what the long term implications would be.
Aaryn Flynn on Spike TV right now.
That was a krogan, confirmed.
Also, "they've found a way to keep the trilogy separate, and tell a new story."
Aaryn confirmed that roaring creature was a Krogan.
Besides that he didn't say if the game as a prequel or sequel but said they have a "cool plan" on how to do that.

the damage from the reaper war, imo, would significantly alter the meu.
edit: it is a krogan--but they still won't confirm "when". although, they did say explore and move fwd.

That quote does not fill me with confidence.

Maybe parallel universe with the Trilogy-universe preserved on the side? Like Star Trek reboot did
good lord, are we time traveling?
Btw, for those who haven't figure it out yet it means it will probably be a reboot or parallel universe type scenario.
EDIT:beaten
You people got me scared for a minute I know my people. Explore and move forward but won't say if it is a sequel or not weird.
Is there any event before N7 day where we might see more? November is so far away [/whine].
Where was this said?
In aaryn's interview.
well, i still don't actually know anything abt the next me. except that at least "a" krogan has a horn coming out of its head...and it really rawrz!
hmm.
That quote does not fill me with confidence.
Agree completely. Fingers crossed in actuality its a lot better than it sounds.
Sounds to me like the Arc theory that I mentioned on the previous page seems quite realistic.

Don't exactly know if I'd be down for that... Probably better than a prequel, but still...
I think I'm leaning towards the ark to another universe theory, although that seems like a cheap way to not have to commit to a canon ending. ![]()
