Loud music and prototyping will be my morning, and possibly my afternoon as well, though I might switch to a podcast. Should be a good day.

To anyone who is interested, Chris and Jessica are doing another Q/A

Something interesting that Chris said:

"
One of the new features is an exploration/clue system hat you play through in the new era on the Citadel to find clues on Leviathan. It's a cool Deduction mechanic. "

That's awesome, can't wait for Leviathan!

Sounds kind of like LotSB, only over a wider area.  You know, at the very beginning when it has that film noir feel.  Gave me flashbacks of 'Charlie Jade'.  So good.

Interesting... did anyone read the interview?
The Redditor pretty much pointed out an interesting tidbit here:

"If it makes you feel even the slightest bit better, [Casey] did say that the stuff in the extended cut they had wanted to put in the game in the first place. "

WHen asked why they didn't do it then:

Pretty sure from lack of time. There's a lot of pressure to get games done, especially when you've already built up hype and postponed release and have a company like EA in charge.

That figures. But I guess we all know where BioWare will eventually end up only because EA is in charge.

I don't know if all the controversy around ME3 endings indicates success.

For now. Bioware's latest sequels/games have been negatively received by a large portion of their respective fanbases; it's no surprise that ME3 was successful seeing that it rode on the coattails of ME and ME2's accomplishments.

The true indication if Bioware's future will be "successful" will be the release of their next game.

I can't argue with the figures. But that was mostly before the backlash against the endings. The time will tell how much it damaged BioWare's reputation.

And what exactly does EA's gross profit have to do with the success of ME3? Oh that's right, not a damn thing.

EA seems to be making a net profit, unless I don't understand how to read those figures, and they are doing it in a weak economy. I think long term EA's strategy is bad, but it is still working for them currently. Though, 76 million in net profit seems small for a company that makes 2.5 billion dollars of revenue.... So maybe 'working' isn't the right term so much as 'limping onward'.

Ah, okay. It sounded funny regardless. :P
Still, all these tweets about prototypes is slightly irksome since they can't even give us a hint.
