I don't know what is in fact going to be done about it.  but I certainly don't envy you guys the job of carrying on the franchise.  There's a lot of opinions out there on where to take it. ;)

And lo and behold, they seem like they're doing just fine ... even enjoying the process.

KOTOR and ME Crossover. We travel to a galaxy, far far away in the next ME.

It's not we who travel but HK-47 who comes here looking for new meatbags to shoot. He wants to show the asari how to truly "Embrace Eternity" :P

I think it's because it's a topic that many in the video game industry have to deal with on a regular basis and all have their own opinions on. I like being able to talk to devs because it gives a glimpse into the mentality of the studio the devs are at.

I know Echo. I thought it was great to see so many posts! And also an excuse to post a fassbender.gif

C'mon MrDbow we all know you really don't need a excuse to post a fassbender gif :P

HK-47 thinks the ME characters are nothing but worthless meatbags. XD

To be fair, that's HK's default opinion of everyone he's ever met.  :)  (Or heard of. Or passed in the street. Or...)

Also, my reaction to a ME and KOTOR crossover:   :)  :D  :D  :D

Jos Hendriks @Sjosz

I really like how Mass Effect 3 turned out.

Jos Hendriks @Sjosz

And you know what? It's cool if you don't like the way Mass Effect 3 turned out. But I love it.

You know what was super rad in that game? The Hunt for Red October reference in a bad Scottish accent you never got to hear.

Patrick Weekes @PatrickWeekes

IT WAS AWESOME.

Jos Hendriks @Sjosz

We made the right choice in going for the safe read of that line. The reference was too good to get cut out.

Patrick Weekes @PatrickWeekes

I know. Still, in my heart, it will be in the bad Scottish accent.

Jos Hendriks @Sjosz

We will always have Seth Green's bad Scottish accent, Patrick.

Jos Hendriks @Sjosz

Also rad is the space walk between the Normandy and the Geth Dreadnought. I say that because I made it, and I'm super proud of it.

Jos Hendriks @Sjosz

Even more so because that little 2 minute section was 3 months of fighting and almost getting cut constantly. But it made it anyway.

Jos Hendriks @Sjosz

That space walk contained combat and taking cover at one point, but was impossible to achieve beyond a prototype stage given restrictions.

I have a difficult time thinking of what my favourite thing is that I worked on in Mass Effect 2/3/DLC.

Space walk was indeed awesome. I'm glad they kept it in. I'm not sure I would have liked having combat during it, I liked just looking around and getting the banter when you spotted Rannoch and the dreadnought.

Some really fun chats lately with @MrJoelMac about some pretty iconic things in the next ME game. Things we want to live on for a long time

They make the clones talk differently, rob you of any shred of personality, and take your Jedi Code and adjust it so that it is not really the Jedi Code anymore. They even change your pigmentation to a rather poor shade of durasteel, rather than the proper rusty red that inspires fear in targets. And of course, they refer to meatbags as 'organics.' Unacceptable."

I don't know what my favorite ME3 moment would be but I'd say my favorite All Time ME moment is in Mass Effect 2 when joker is introduced again and the new Normandy SR-2 is revealed. The music in that sequence is legendary.

Oh now that I come to think of it, the best sequence in ME3 is probably when Shepard has to leave Anderson behind on earth and the reapers destroy those transport ships. Again, the music there is so extremely good, it really gave me goosebumps the first time I saw that.

I liked both of those scenes too.

I also liked the start of ME2 when Shep gets spaced.

I thought I had done something wrong in ME that caused me to have my Shep die......I stood up and screamed at the computer, "OMG! Shep id dead! What have I done????" It was a few heart pounding confused moments ...why is the game still going?.....until Shep wakes up at the Cerberus facility.

My other favorite scene is with Mordin on Tchuchanka.  I'll admit. I cried the first time....especially one he started humming the 'Scientist Salarian' song. Then I watched the renegade option on youtube and sobbed big sobby tears to the point I was hiccuping. (I'm easily emotionally manipulated in stories...that's my explanation anyway)

That spacewalk was a mass effect scene to the core.  things like this make the 3rd game replayable and a classic despite the Inadequacy of the endings(which after Extended Cut are not thaaat bad)

jos, michael, patrick or whoever fellow reads this right now,  do whatever u like with the next game suprise us feel free to be innovative! But don't delete shepard's story don't make it nonexistent don't make the trilogy obsolete and unplayable due to the mass effect next plot choices.

The scene actually reminded me of ME1, when you went EVA up the side of the Citadel.

I agree. That spacewalk to the Geth Dreadnaught was one of the most memorable ( in a good way ) things about ME3. Sad to hear it almost got cut but I'm glad it made it into the final game.
