Just filled the survey, really interesting.
The telemetry data tells the tale.
Even then it would at least had a question regarding it.

“@HellbornHero: I just filled out Bioware's survey for Mass Effect 4. I told them it needs more @AlixWiltonRegan” THANK YOU X
The things missing from the survey was the choice for RPG necessity were: Story, Characterization, Setting. Why are those not there bioware?
What physical feature would you say is the most important in making a video game character seem lifelike ?
Armpit
eyes.
Welp, filled in the survey. Nice way of involving the community, and it was good to sound off on what I want to see going forward. Not sure how much these surveys will affect development, but it was fun anyway!
I mentioned the Tali incident (the stock photo one). I'm ok with a no reveal or with a reveal, but a half done reveal was the worse, and that's what we got. I know that is behind us now, but i mentioned it in order to tell them to avoid those kind of problems.
Filled out survey. Mentioned player AGENCY (yes, in all caps. It's very important to me) in hopes of avoiding another Shepard Incident.
What the developers really need us to talk with them about is their relationship with us; the core fans of their games. I really don't like this total information black out we're under. I suspect it's a decision being forced on Bioware by EA to a degree, but it sucks either way. The argument that detailed info on ME:N can't be released because it's still subject to change is perfectly reasonable and one I agree with. We're not asking for that though. At this point in development, the devs could give us a CG trailer with a basic outline of the time period and even setting the game takes place in. That is going to be well and truly locked in, so no-one can get in the can for advertising something which isn't in the final product. We fans would then have something concrete to pick apart and analyse, and those who aren't getting what they hoped for can resign themselves and decide weather or not they'll give the game a chance. It might stop a few pre-orders, but pre-ordering has become a scam in the gaming industry.
I wish I had the insane amount of money needed to buy out EA. I'd totally start to wind down the role of publishers as intermediaries between developers and customers/fans in favour of a more direct developer/customer relationship.
Should have put this in my survey.....

They don't necessarily owe you anything just because you're still posting on a forum about a game two years after it came out, though. At the end of the day your money is worth just as much as the people who will pick up ME: Next on launch because they were impressed by the mindblowing reveal that took months to get right. If there is a plan to only talk about ME Dentist when it's ready; they aren't obliged to change it just because you really, really want them to.
Fair point that there needs to be a discussion at some point about the studio's relationship with its fans (because it *certainly* didn't happen after ME3), but I don't really think the best way to start is by assuming that "core fans" are somehow more important, or more worthy of attention, than anyone else.
Dear Press, stop saying Mass Effect 4. No one at BioWare has ever said the title is Mass Effect 4. "Next Mass Effect" until further notice.
Also, if you are going to San Diego Comic-Con there is a panel on the development of the next Mass Effect http://ca.ign.com/ar...-to-comic-con …
Unreasonable to tell people not to call it Mass Effect 4 when you don't feel like giving out the real title. It's the 4th mass effect game even if it is not part of the Shepard trilogy and next mass effect is no different at all in context to mass effect 4 for 99% of people.

The real title is "Next Mass Effect", until further notice. It's not that hard to get it right and call it by the name that the studio prefers.
DAI makreting is on "all out" mode. I wouldn't expect any news about ME until October.

They're doing Mass Effect events at SDCC, Gamescom and PAX.
Pretty sure we won't see anything major there.

Except that is hard to say, hard to use in the context of a sentence and 95% of people who don't come into these forums could not relate to it.
Yeah elitepincone, you've gotten a bit snippy lately.
Our #SDCC panel is going to rock - but we need to pack the room. Get on that, people!

Nobody cares.
Approval from @tibermoon to file bugs anytime a talking raccoon would be necessary in the next #MassEffect game. @Sjosz is going to hate me.
You're assuming I don't already.
