I don't think it's Bioware Edmonton's new IP.

 

There are pretty convincing rumors that this is a F2P game called "Shadow Realms" made by Bioware Austin.

Aaryn's interview made it pretty clear though that the new IP will be MMO-ish/heavy multiplayer. So sending emails to TOR subscribers makes perfect sense. Modern setting fits too, I doubt Austin would have new game ready for unveil already

Hm, I think you might be right about the Fallen London devs, but I reckon they're creating an ARG as a marketing tool for the actual new IP reveal.

That's what I've been thinking as well (I always assumed the Failbetter project would be in support of a Bioware IP, not a new IP in and of itself)

There's a reference on the ARG website to player-generated narratives and civilizational stories comprised of individuals. 

 

I'm really getting a strong Failbetter vibe from that site, too. The subject descriptions are hilarious in the way that they gradually get more bizarre.

Dunno if this helps,but since everyone is speculating:

 

I got an email stating i was chosen, it is the exact same info that the video does. (it is basically the video)
