I don't care much for the idea, but if we still know it takes place post ME3 and we aren't lost in space somewhere (we still have contact with the Milky Way) I don't care.

I believe he sees the Mako's wheels as like Lego vehicle wheels, and the environment in the Mako driving screenshot as like a SWTOR barren level with similar style (can't tell much from a screenshot like that though imo). And maybe even the Hero as more of an action figure than before.

Fair nuff. It's a very first pass materials/texture on the vehicle there, so not particularly representative yet. Far as I can tell our art direction hasn't been stylized at all like TOR.

Not really. Even flashing forward 500 years, Liara, Grunt, Wrex and maybe Samara would still be alive.

True, but the reason I dislike that is because any of these chracter are too strongly connected with Shepard. Let Shepard's story be Shepard's story.

Basically, they had no idea how the write themselves out of the mess that was ME3's ending, so they'll just to another galaxy and pretend like it never happened.

I've never been a fan of moving the story to another galaxy. I know some fans wouldn't like it, but I think it would be best to canonize the High EMS Destroy ending and go from there.

If Bioware does a new galaxy, I hope it's well done and well justified.

It's set somewhere in space. We get to explore (WITH THE MAKO!). It will indeed have characters (might mean just races though?), possibly recurring characters. We are an N7.

 

Okay class, let's compare it to what we knew before.
