Not Mass Effect 4 Dammit needs to have a Rapscallion Poet NPC.

Even though that wasn't a poem, it seems appropriate.

Little know fact; I also created these sleeves for the ME3 DLC's!

This is my favorite. I wanted it to feel like a book cover.

Check out this mockup of a shirt print I for Gamex 2 years ago. I gender swapped the original ME3 collectors art :)

Was gonna be a 360 print, awesome idea but too complex and too many colors so I scrapped it.This is the full version.

Patrick Weekes @PatrickWeekes

I think one of the best things a screen/game-writer can do sometimes is learn when to say less and let people act.

Patrick Weekes @PatrickWeekes

Tali watching her fleet come burning down if you side with the geth. Background radio stuff, but no words until her last ones.

Jay Watamaniuk @JayWatamaniuk

We all still super-hate you for making Tali cry. Can I get an amen, people?

Jos Hendriks @Sjosz

Delicious, delicious tears.

Amen. lol!

But this is so true. That was an amazing moment. I still remember Tali's---glowy...mask eyes--darting back and forth as this happened. There was a real sense of mounting horror. (yes, i screwed up my first PT.)

I was even more surprised at what happened next.  The ole cliff diving moment was like...whoa.....

So far Tali's death is one of most memorable moments from video games I've ever played. Anderson's death (except for space magic elevator and low res background of Earth and battlefield) and The Fall of Thessia (there were some things I didn't like about it, like how the temple looked like after it was demolished and too similar asari voices on comm) were also touching. Anyway, well done, I hope too see more like it in future titles.

Never thought I'd be posting tweets myself! ^_^ okay, so maybe it's nothing special, but still, it's got our favourite hashtag B)

Lion Martinez' work looks really nice, but the text on the FemShep poster thing bugs me. For one, "humanity prevailed"... once again, humanity - not the galaxy. And secondly, maybe I missed something, but was it ever stated that November 7th was the in-game date for the final battle? If not, then it doesn't make sense to say that it was 'the day humanity prevailed'.

Maybe I'm just being nit-picky and it wasn't released or anything anyway :P just kinda irked me.

I honestly think it's great that a number of people saw that (and similar suboptimal consequences of insufficient Paragon/Renegade) on their first playthrough. I almost wish I had too, 'cause the impact is lessened considerably on following playthroughs when you know it doesn't have to happen. I hope Bioware increase the difficulty on such moments in the future, not merely by raising the reputation you need, but by e.g. having past choices have unforeseen (or relatively unforeseen?) consequences.

"Perfect" playthroughs are nice and all, but they're also a bit boring at times :P

But Tali!

I did one playthrough where I accidentally lost Tali. I dropped it soon after. I did another playthrough where I had Tali die in the SM just to see ME3 without her. That playthrough ended as soon as the Rannoch arc was over. Never again.

I think one of the best things a screen/game-writer can do sometimes is learn when to say less and let people act.

One of my favourite bits of a recent ME3 playthrough is down to something similar, though it's perhaps more about how characters act can add to the effect of what they say.  If you kill Mordin on Tuchunka, Shepard has a convo with Garrus about the success.  Garrus knows nothing about the sabotage of the Genophage cure, so he's thinking the best of Shepard when he admits that if he were in the same position, he would have second thoughts about releasing the cure but then reasons it wouldn't matter because Mordin wouldn't allow the release to be stopped.

Shepard's reply ("No, he wouldn't") is pointed enough on it's own, but at the moment Shepard delivers the line, she is walking away from Garrus, looking directly into the screen, directly at the player.  It adds a vicious twist to the words, turning them into a kind of accusation.

Should I be expecting to hear anything about Not Mass Effect 4 at Gamescom?

Probably not, the Gamescom isn't important at all, it's just for us European to show the games that will be released at the end of the year, nobody's expecting to see a new game or even an important announcement.

You will have to wait for DAI, once it will be out we will hear about Mass Effect because it will be the next step for Bioware.

That's being developed by Bioware Austin, so the teams in Edmonton and Montreal aren't really involved in it.

I'd expect the next Mass Effect to come out before Casey Hudson's new IP, whatever that is.

(The "You've Been Chosen" game is different to Bioware Edmonton's new IP.)

It doesn't really, but I don't think whatever this new project is (people are calling it Shadow Realms) will stop them talking about the new games being developed at Edmonton.

(Just like SWTOR was advertised for years while they were also doing marketing for Mass Effect and Dragon Age)
