May not be remembering this correctly, but I'm fairly sure that Bioware picked up the Warhammer 40k license when THQ went bust.

Fairly sure that's the new IP.

 

Is that right? I mean the info that BioWare owns the Warhammer 40k license. Because that is such a cool universe. I played the "Warhammer 40k: Space Marine", which was my first direct interaction with the universe, got curious (because I mean, come on, orcs in space) and wow is it awesomely trippy. Orcs and elves and the undead meeting artificial intelligences and interstellar travel? The aesthetic is so unique and so striking. If BioWare really has the license, imagine the games they could make.

 

@departure of Casey - that came as a complete shock to me. I did not see that coming. And I do have to admit to feeling more than just a little sad to see him go. Despite everything, to me, he *is* Mass Effect. Damn. In any event, I too wish him the best of luck and success in his future endeavors. I am sure that wherever he ends up, he will kick all sorts of ass

I wish Casey all the best in his future endeavors. And it's nice to see all the supportive comments from people. I remember 2 years ago when this forum was full of hate for him. We have remember that Casey pretty much created created Mass Effect. He's basically equivalent to Gene Roddenberry and George Lucas. Both of those guys made mistakes too.

The Mass Effect trilogy was my introduction into a true RPG. The news of C. Hudson leaving is somewhat saddening. Saying that, there is a tremendous amount of thanks for helping create an amazing universe that many love.

Pah!  I can choose any one of a number of sync killers to easily grab that big, slow moving krogan with no dodge, a huge hit box and team mates that are all infiltrators.
