Stop the tease. Really.
Two years and a half later of the release of ME3 i'm personally tired of those "oh yes, the game is set on space" "sure, the game will have enemies" "I have never seen salarians look so good". Really, if you have something important to tell to us, say it. If you otherwise don't, I don't want to know how great salarians look, I don't care. I want to know timelines, main character, type of enemies, story, etc. If saying that is out of the question either because you don't have it or because you can't say it, fine by me. Take your time, take two more years, three, five, ten, It doesn't matter as long as the product is good. But please, stop teasing us, at first I thought It was funny and that even motivated people into knowing that ME3 was being worked on, but nowdays and after some really unfortunate "twits" from some Bioware employees (doesn't anybody remember the "STOP CALLING IT MASS EFFECT 4!!!"? while we don't have ANY other alternative name) It's starting to sound rude (I have/know something YOU don't, screw you HAHAHAHAHA).
You could say "I can never keep everybody happy, If i tease some get angry, If I don't tease others get angry", and while this might be the case that is not an excuse for not being responsable while saying somethings in public. The perfect example is the stop calling it mass effect 4 tweet. I have seen some great tweets implying that the game is being worked on while don't having the need to tease anybody and much less appearing to be rude and disrespectful.
They are extremely painful!

That was awesome. Sudden urge to spend the rest of the day sitting at my piano, playing Mass Effect tunes.

Damned if we do, damned if we don't. Some people like the teasing, some people don't. The game is being worked on. There will be substantive info when it's ready. I'd have far more fun telling you the things we're doing, but it is not up to me when information is shared. If you feel that any of my tweets or posts in here have been rude or disrespectful, I'm sorry. If anything, my tweets are mostly to share that the game is worked on and that I'd love giving you more information, but that I can't right now.

I for one love reading the tweets, knowing that its being worked on. Feeling a connection with the devs / writers as we step into ME: Next is pretty cool. Still, we sometimes get the urge to look out the window, then look back at the drivers and ask, "Are we there yet?"
I'm pretty patient. Some others, not so much. I understand where they are coming from though.
I for one love that people are still saying ME4 because trolling Mike is the best.
Huh? You mean ME4? The ME4 that will be the ME4 which is called ME4 because it is the ME after 3? Because it takes place after and is connected to ME3, and therefore the Commander Shepard trilogy of ME1-3 and thus must be called ME4? ME4ME4?
They are extremely painful!
For you
Stop the tease. Really.
The teasing and vague hints are light-hearted and fun, they're not intended to be deliberately rude or painful to you personally.
(Like people have said, it's hardly as though the developers have any control over when the game will be announced or when they'll start giving details about the setting/protagonist/story.)
If they're getting annoying, perhaps it's better to stop following Mass Effect news entirely until they start talking more about solid details. That way, when lots of information is finally revealed it'll even come as a pleasant surprise.
If you like Klendagon, next time you're in the party camp in Dragon Age: Origins, look up at the moon.
What sort of witchcraft is this?
Dragon Age and Mass Effect being part of the same universe confirmed I guess.

*snip*
wow. man, those first few notes still friggin get me. just pow! all up in the solar plexus.
you know, i'd like to see something like that in the next game. i mean, let's say we're at sum hub world. off to the side somewhere is a group of aliens, or a mix of species, playing music. haunting, otherworldly music. even moving with the kinda grace that this group has.
I for one love that people are still saying ME4 because trolling Mike is the best.
lmao! so bad...

Heck, until there's an actual title ME4's as good a name as MENext, or whatever else one wants to call "the game that is made after ME3"
I mean, how long was Dragon Age: Inquisition called "DA3?" by, well, everyone?
I just like MENext because it reminds me of D&D Next. And for the same reasons. ![]()
Getting very excited about N7 Day!
"ME4" is kinda like the new "Biower". We'll keep calling the next game ME4 no matter what.
